PEMODELAN DAN ANALISIS RESPON DINAMIS KENDARAAN TRUK AKIBAT PENGARUH PROFIL JALAN DAN GETARAN ENGINE

ABSTRAK

Truk merupakan kendaraan yang digunakan untuk mengangkut barang-barang logistik lintas kota. Kecelakaan lalu lintas yang diakibatkan truk merupakan hal yang sering dijumpai di banyak negara tak terkecuali di Indonesia. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut salah satunya ialah kelelahan pengemudi. Salah satu penyebab kelelahan yang terjadi pada pengemudi ialah ketidaknyamanan sistem suspensi. Ketidaknyamanan yang terjadi dapat disebabkan oleh profil jalan. Selama ini pemodelan setengah kendaraan half-car hanya dilakukan dengan input pada roda depan dan belakang. Padahal pada kenyataannya Getaran Engine yang berlebihan juga dapat mempengaruhi ketidaknyamanan pengemudi. Pada tugas akhir ini dimodelkan dan disimulasikan dinamika kendaraan truk dengan model setengah kendaraan half-car. Input yang diberikan berupa impuls dan sinusoidal yang merepresentasikan profil jalan. Selain itu eksitasi getaran engine dan kondisi kontainer laden dan unladen diberikan pada sistem untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang ditimbulkan. Terdapat 3 model yang divariasikan yaitu laden truck unladen truck dan laden truck tanpa getaran engine. Kecepatan truk divariasikan dari 40 60 hingga 80 kmjam Sedangkan amplitudo jalan divariasikan sebesar 005 m 001 m dan 015 m. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pada input step besar kecepatan truk semua model tidak memengaruhi nilai respon perpindahan maksimum dari kabin. Semakin besar ii kecepatan truk nilai respon kecepatan maksimum dari kabin menunjukkan tren yang menurun begitu pula dengan nilai respon percepatan maksimumnya. Sedangkan pada input harmonik sinusoidal semakin besar kecepatan truk dan amplitudo jalan nilai respon dinamis percepatan kecepatan dan percepatan maksimum dan percepatan rms mengalami kenaikan. Adanya getaran engine memberikan pengaruh terhadap karakteristik dari respon yang dihasilkan. Respon dinamis maksimum dan percepatan rms dari kabin truk meningkat. Peningkatan percepatan rms rata-rata dari kabin truk sebesar 6 . Adanya kontainer laden menurunkan nilai respon dinamis perpindahan kecepatan dan percepatan maksimum dari kabin truk dan mempercepat kestabilan. Penurunan percepatan rms rata-rata dari kabin truk sebesar 11. Unladen truck memiliki percepatan rms paling tinggi diantara laden truck dan laden truck tanpa getaran engine. Sehingga berdasarkan standar kenyamanan ISO 2631 menurunkan ketahanan pengemudi. Kabin beresonansi pada frekuensi 11706 Hz.


ABSTRACT

Truck is a vehicle that is used for carrying logistics and comodity cross-city. Traffic accidents caused by truck are often occured in many countries especially in Indonesia. There are so many factors that affect it such as driver exhaustion. One of the potential factor that cause the level of driver comfort is suspension system. The level of comfort can be leveraged by road profile. In recent years modeling of half-car has only been observed by using front and rear tyre as inputs. In facts excessive engine vibration can affect the level of comfort of the driver. In this research truck is modeled and simulated as halfcar system. Road profile is modeled as impuls and sinusoidal input. Beside of that engine vibration and container condition which is laden or unladen are applied to the system for observing the effects. There are three variation of the model such as laden truck unladen truck and laden truck without engine vibration. Velocity of truck is varied from 40 60 until 80 kmhour. Whereas road amplitude is varied from 005 001 and 015 m. The results of the research indicated for step input velocity of truck have no effect in maximum cabin displacement. The faster truck is the less maximum velocity and acceleration of the cabin. Whereas for sinusoidal input increasing velocity of truck and road amplitude will result the higher maximum dynamics response displacement velocity and acceleration and RMS acceleration of the cabin. Adding engine vibration affects the characteristic of the response. Maximum dynamics response iv and RMS acceleration of cabin increase too. The average of RMS acceleration increased to 6 . When container is applied Laden the less maximum dynamics response occurs but the stable state is accelerated. The greatest RMS acceleration is on unladen truck the amount of RMS acceleration when placing container increased to 11 . Hence according to ISO 2631 standard it induce uncomfortable condition and low durability of the driver. The resonance of cabin occurs at 1706 Hz.
