PERBAIKAN KUALITAS ARUS PADA BUCK-BOOST INVERTER YANG TERHUBUNG GRID MENGGUNAKAN FEED-FORWARD COMPENSATION FFC

ABSTRAK

Kualitas tegangan DC yang digunakan sebagai masukan inverter sering kali mengandung ripple dan mengalami fluktuasi. Tegangan DC tersebut bisa berasal tegangan generator AC yang disearahkan menggunakan rectifier. Ripple pada tegangan input inverter akan mempengaruhi kuliatas dari output inverter. Hal ini berlaku untuk kondisi inverter baik yang stand alone maupun yang terhubung grid. Oleh karena itu diperlukan metode untuk memperbaiki kualitas arus output inverter supaya sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan jaringan. Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dibahas perbaikan kualitas arus output dari buck-boost inverter yang terhubung grid. Metode yang digunakan adalah memanfaatkan deteksi ripple pada tegangan DC sumber yang dikombinasikan dengan sistem PWM pada inverter. Teknik ini disebut Feed-Forward Compensation FFC. Dari simulasi menunjukkan bahwa distorsi arus output pada buck-boost inverter dapat diturunkan ketika metode FFC diterapkan. Pemakain metode FFC pada tegangan input 400 Vdc dengan ripple 869 peak-to-peak dapat menurunkan THD arus mula sebesar 4778 menjadi 1324 . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode FFC efektif untuk meningkatkan arus keluaran dari buck-boost inverter.


ABSTRACT

DC voltage quality when used as input voltage of inverter often has ripples and fluctuated dramatically. DC input voltage derived from generator voltage which rectified using rectifier. The ripple in inverter input voltage will affect the quality of inverter output current. This applies in both stand alone and grid-connected conditions. Therefore it is required a method to improve the quality of inverter output current in order to be connected with grid. This final project will be studied about an improvement of quality output current from buck-boost inverters with grid-connected. The method used ripple detection in DC voltage source and combined with PWM system in inverter. This technique is called Feed-Forward Compensator FFC method. The simulation showed that the distortion of output current in buck-boost inverter can be derived when the FFC method is applied. Using FFC method on 400 Vdc with ripple 8.69 peak-to-peak can reduce THD current 4.778 to 1.324. So it can be concluded that FFC method is effective to improve the output current of the buck-boost inverter.
