ABSTRAK

Saat ini di PT. PLN Area Surabaya apabila terjadi gangguan yang menyebabkan PMT trip maka statusnya akan diinformasikan oleh ROPO Remote Operation Penyulang Outgoing via SMS yang berisi jenis relai yang bekerja fasa yang terganggu dan nilai arusnya. Namun petugas di lapangan tidak bisa langsung menemukan lokasi gangguan karena panjangnya saluran dalam satu penyulang. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu perancangan sistem monitoring arus gangguan hubung singkat setiap seksi LBS Manual pada saluran atau penyulang JTM dengan media Modem GSM agar memungkinkan bagi petugas unit gangguan dari penyedia tenaga listrik untuk mengetahui lokasi gangguan jaringan tenaga listrik melalui pesan singkat atau SMS. Pada prototype yang dibuat digunakan sensor arus clamp dengan rasio 18001 dan error pembacaan arus antara 0 sampai dengan 2 kemudian data tersebut akan diolah untuk mendeteksi adanya arus gangguan hubung singkat pada jaringan yang kemudian ditampilkan pada komputer dalam bentuk single line diagram sehingga petugas unit gangguan dapat mengetahui lokasi gangguan dan melakukan perbaikan pada jaringan gangguan tersebut. Selain pengamatan di kantor unit gangguan pada perangkat ini juga disertai lampu indikator untuk menunjukkan section yang terganggu di lapangan. Maka petugas unit gangguan yang turun ke lapangan juga dapat melihat lokasi gangguan berdasarkan lampu indikator tersebut.


ABSTRACT

Now days at PT PLN area Surabaya when some fault is happen and causing break down of PMT the status will be informed by ROPO Remote Operation Penyulang Outgoing via SMS which contained what type of the working relay which phase was not working properly and also value of the current. However the recovery unit is not be able to find fault location directly because length of the feeder. By this problem some design of short circuit current monitoring system in every LBS manual section at JTM feeder by modem GSM is needed to give a change for the recovery unit to find the fault location via short message service SMS. On this prototype clamp current sensor with 18001 ratio and 0 - 2 error is used data from this sensor will be processed to find the short circuit current fault on the feeder then it will be displayed in a single line diagram form with this screen display the recovery unit will be able to find the fault location and making maintenance. Beside observation in the office this device is build in indicator lamp to show which section is error. And then the recovery unit who work in the fault location can decide which section is not working properly by this indicator lamp.
