ROOM PROTOTYPE LIGHTING CONTROL WITH LED

ABSTRAK

Pada umumnya pengaturan penerangan hanya menggunakan prinsip on-off dimana lampu hanya bekerja pada dua kondisi yaitu lampu menyala penuh ketika on atau off. Pengaturan penerangan dengan prinsip on-off hanya berdasarkan pada kondisi gelap terang ruangan tanpa menghiraukan kontribusi cahaya dari luar. Dari pemikiran tersebut direalisasikan sebuah prototype pengaturan penerangan ruangan kerja dengan ultrabright LED ECO3S yang merupakan pengaturan intensitas LED sebagai tanggapan atas perubahan kuantitas cahaya dari luar yang masuk ke dalam ruangan sehingga LED dapat menyesuaikan intensitasnya sesuai dengan intensitas cahaya ruangan. Proses pengaturan intensitas cahaya LED diatur dengan menggunakan PWM internal mikrokontroler AVR. Dari hasil pengujian sistem diperoleh bahwa intensitas LED dapat menerang dan meredup berdasarkan pengaruh cahaya dari luar. Pada sistem terkontrol konsumsi rata rata daya sebesar 876 Watt sedangkan konsumsi rata rata daya sistem tanpa kontrol sebesar 1056 W sehingga effisiensi sistem ini sebesar 171 .


ABSTRACT

Generally lighting setting control only used on-off principle in which the lamps only work in two conditions which are fully on or off. The lighting setting using on-off principle is only based on the condition of the room without considering the external light contribution. Based on that consideration a prototype of lighting setting control for workroom has been made. It was a lighting setting which used ultrabright LED ECO3S which is a setting of LED intensity as a reaction towards the change of external light quantity in the room. This LED can adjust its intensity based on the room intensity automatically. The setting process of LED light intensity was controlled by using PWM internal from AVR microcontroller. The system has been tested and the result is LED intensity can be higher of lower affected by the external light contribution. In controlled system the average power consumption is 8.76 Watt meanwhile the average consumption of non-control system is 10.56 Watt. Thus we can conclude that the efficiency of the system is about 17.1.
