ABSTRAK

Suatu system komunikasi akan berlangsung dengan baik dan berhasil apabila informasi atau sinyal yang dikirimkan itu dapat dideteksi oleh penerima dalam keadaan utuh sesuai dengan bentuk aslinya. Akan tetapi dalam kenyataannya seringkali suatu perangkat penerima menerima sinyal atau informasi yang kurang jelas karena terinterferensi. Akibatnya informasi yang dideteksi itu tidak dapat diinterpretasi dengan tepat sesuai dengan bentuk aslinya. Untuk mendeteksi sinyal yang dipancarkan oleh suatu pemancar yang tidak diketahui identitasnyamaka perlu diantisipasi dengan menerapkan strategi dan metode tertentu. Salah satu system deteksi yang efektif dan akurat untuk melokalisasi sumber sinyal tersebut adalah dengan metode estimasi Direction of Arrival DOA dengan mengaplikasikan algoritma Multiple Signal Classification MUSIC. Akan tetapi dalam proses pendeteksian sumber sinyal tersebut ada pergerakan relative antara pemancar dan penerima yang mengakibatkan pergeseran Doppler Doppler Effect yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas penerimaan sinyal. Teknik pendeteksian ini disimulasikan dengan menggunakan MATLAB dengan menggunakan jumlah sinyal datang 5 jumlah elemen 9 jumlah sampel 500 dan SNR 20 dB. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa dengan menambahkan jumlah elemen antenna jumlah sampel sinyal dan SNR akan membuat mean square error makin kecil yang berarti kemampuan MUSIC dalam deteksi sinyal makin baik.


ABSTRACT

A communication system will run well and be successful if the information or signal transmitted can be detected by the receiver is intact according to its original form. However the reality shows that the receiver often detect signals or information that is less clear because of interference. As a result the detected information could not be correctly interpreted according to its original form. To detect the signal emitted by the unknown identity transmitter it is necessary to implement the strategies and methods. A system of effective and accurate detection to localize the signal source is the method of Direction-Of-Arrival DOA estimation by applying the Multiple Signal Classification MUSIC algorithm. However in the detection process of the signal source there is a relative motion between the transmitter and the receiver resulting Doppler Shift Doppler Effect which in turn can affect the quality of signal reception. The detection technique is simulated using MATLAB program that using a number of incoming signals 5 number of array element 9 number of snapshots samples 500 and SNR 20 dB. Simulation program is running with varying these above parameters mentioned. Simulation results show that by adding the number of antenna array elements the number of samples of the signal and SNR will make the smaller mean square error which means that the performance of MUSIC algorithm is better in signal detection.
