ABSTRAK

Penelitian tentang antena mikrostrip telah banyak dilakukan diantaranya menganalisis perbedaan letak slot aperture pada antena mikrostrip aperture coupled dan ukuran dari slot aperture serta antena mikrostrip menggunakan teknik pencatuan aperture coupled yang mampu menghasilkan bandwidth yang lebar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimasi desain antena mikrostrip bentuk persegi dengan algoritma genetika. Desain antena mikrostrip dengan teknik pencatuan aperture coupled dilakukan optimasi pada lebar slot aperture. Dengan mengoptimalisasi ukuran lebar slot aperture diharapkan akan diperoleh parameter antena yang lebih baik seperti return loss VSWR dan bandwidth gain dan pola radiasi. Hasil pengukuran dari realisasi antena hasil desain pada frekuensi 2357 GHz diperoleh return loss -3321 dB VSWR sebesar 1060 dan bandwidth 50 MHz axial ratio 1141 dan gain 571 dBi. Sesuai dengan parameter target yaitu return loss lebih kecil dari -20 dB dan gain minimal 5 dB antena hasil pabrikasi memenuhi parameter target karena mampu menghasilkan return loss -3321 dB dan gain 571 dBi.


ABSTRACT

The research on microstrip antennas have been carried out to analyze the differences among the location of the slot aperture coupled microstrip antenna aperture and the size of the aperture and the slot microstrip antenna aperture coupled feeding techniques are capable of producing a wide bandwidth. The purpose of this study is to optimize the design of microstrip antenna square shape with a genetic algorithm. Design of microstrip antenna aperture coupled with feeding techniques done on wide slot aperture optimization. By optimizing the width of the slot aperture size is expected to be obtained by a better antenna parameters such as return loss VSWR and bandwidth gain and radiation patterns. The measurement results of the realization of antenna design results obtained at a frequency of 2.357 GHz return loss -33.21 dB VSWR of 1.060 and bandwidth 50 MHz axial ratio of 1.141 and gain 5.71 dBi. Accordance with the parameters of the target which is return loss less than -20 dB and a minimum gain of 5 dB antenna fabrication results meet the target parameter because it can produce return loss -33.21 dB and gain of 5.71 dBi.
