ABSTRAK

Machinima adalah sebuah sistem yang memungkinkan pembuatan film dalam sebuah lingkungan virtual 3D secara real-time. Pembuatan film di Machinima mengikuti prinsip sinematografi seperti yang ada di dunia nyata sehingga posisi kamera memegang peranan penting. Machinima bergerak secara real-time selayaknya proses pengambilan video di dunia nyata dalam keadaan demikian maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang bisa membuat kamera di dalam dunia virtual bertingkah laku selayaknya juru kamera di dunia nyata. Peneltian ini meneliti bagaimana merancang sebuah sistem yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan sinematografi yang diterapkan ke dalam sistem penempatan kamera dengan memperhatikan kaidah sinematografi yang ada di dunia nyata. Dengan menggunakan metode Behavior Tree sebuah kamera bisa menetapkan keputusan untuk melakukan berbagai macam shot sesuai dengan perubahan keadaan yang terjadi.


ABSTRACT

Machinima is a system that allows the making of the film in a 3D virtual environment in real-time. A filmmaking in Machinima following the principles of cinematography as it exists in the real world so that the position of the camera plays an important role. Machinima moves in real-time as video capture process should in the real world in such circumstances we need a system that can create a virtual camera in the virtual world to behave properly like cameraman in the real word. This research examines how to design a system that accommodates the needs of cinematography and applied to the system by paying attention to camera placement in cinematography rules like in the real world. By using the method of Behavior Tree a camera can be set to perform various decisions shot to adjust for changing circumstances.
