ABSTRAK

Keterbatasan daya listrik dan ketidakseimbangan penggunaan listrik merupakan masalah klasik bagi setiap pengguna listrik. Ada yang memasang daya listrik kecil namun beban dari pengguna sangat besar. Namun ada juga yang telah memasang daya besar untuk tempatnya tapi beban yang terpasang ternyata kecil. Hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor ketidakseimbangan penggunaan listrik di masyarakat. Smart MCB ini bekerja berdasarkan efisiensi penggunaan listrik yang mana ketika beban menjadi turun misal jika dibawah 400 watt maka MCB 2 Ampere yang akan aktif jika beban dibawah 900 watt maka MCB 4 Ampere yang akan aktif sehingga dengan begitu efisiensi biaya listrik dapat dimaksimalkan mengingat tarif dari daya pada MCB 4 Ampere lebih mahal daripada tarif dari daya pada MCB 2 Ampere. Pada Smart MCB ini diperoleh hasil pengujian bahwa Smart MCB mampu mengoptimalkan tingkat pemakaian daya listrik dengan melakukan perpindahan aliran listrik antara MCB 2 Ampere MCB 4 Ampere dan MCB 6 Ampere.


ABSTRACT

Electrical power limitations and imbalances electricity usage is a classic problem for any electrical user. There are some users who installing a small electric power but the load of users is huge. However some users are already installed a large power electric in his place but electrical load who are used is small. This is one factor imbalance of electrical usage in most of the electricity usage. The Smart MCB work by the efficiency of electricity use when the load to be down for example if it is under 400 watts MCB 2 Amperes will be active and if the load is below 900 watts MCB 4 Ampere will be active so efficiency of the electricity s cost rate can be maximized because the cost of electricity power at 4 Ampere MCB is more expensive than the rate of power at MCB 2 Ampere. In Smart MCB obtained the test results that Smart MCB can be optimized the power consumption by power electric transfer between MCB 2 Ampere MCB 4 Ampere and MCB 6 Ampere.
