ABSTRAK

Biometrik secara sederhana adalah identifikasi individu berdasarkan ciri ciri yang melekat padanya. Identifikasi tandatangan merupakan proses untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui pemilik dari sebuah tanda tangan. Pada saat ini banyak terjadi pemalsuan tandatangan yang bisa mengakibatkan kerugian terhadap seseorang yang memiliki tandatangan tersebut. Untuk itu sebuah sistem yang bisa melakukan pengenalan tandatangan sangat diperlukan. Berbagai penelitian untuk membangun sistem verifikasi dan identifikasi tandatangan offline telah banyak dilakukan. Dalam paper ini kami menggunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan untuk identifikasi dan verifikasi tandatangan dari citra hasil scan. Discrete Wavelet Transform digunakan sebagai metode ekstraksi fitur untuk mendapatkan fitur tekstur. Fitur ini digunakan sebagai masukan pada mesin pembelajaran LVQ. Sistem yang dibangun terdiri dari empat langkah utama preprossesing ekstraksi fitur identifikasi dan verifikasi tandatangan. Hasil yang didapatkan cukup baik dengan persentase keberhasilan sistem identifikasi sebesar 967 dan untuk sistem verifikasi nilai terbaik Overall Error Rate sebesar 16 nilai terburuk 28.


ABSTRACT

Biometrics is the identification of people based on characteristics attached to them.Human signature identfication is a process for identifying and obtaining a person who has the signature. For the time being there are many signature forgeries which are generally make harm for people who have the signatures. Signature forgery occurs easily for which we need a system that can assist to identify a person s signature. A number of studies to establish a system of verification dan identification of signatures have been carried out. In this paper we use artificial neural network for verification and identification of signature scanning images. Discrete Wavelet Transform is used as a feature extraction method to get texture feature. This feature then used as input to Learning Vector Quantization. System built consists of four major steps preprocessing feature extraction identification and verification of signature. Fairly good result obtained with the percentage of successful identification system by 967 andOverall ErrorRatefor verification system have the best value by 16 and the worst value by 28.
