REKONFIGURASI DAN PENENTUAN LOKASI KAPASITOR UNTUK MENURUNKAN RUGI-RUGI ENERGI PADA JARINGAN DISTRIBUSI TENAGA LISTRIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE BRANCH EXCHANGE

RECONFIGURATION AND CAPACITOR PLACEMENT IN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM USING SIMPLE BRANCH EXCHANGE METHOD

ABSTRAK

Semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan energi listrik harus diimbangi dengan kualitas yang baik . Untuk mengatasinya diperlukan suatu rekonfigurasi di jaringan distribusi . Rekonfigurasi di jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas sistem jaringan. Masalah yang ada di jaringan distribusi radial yakni rugi-rugi energi yang besar. Untuk menurunkan rugi-rugi energi dapat diatasi dengan mengkompensasi kapasitor. Dilakukan dengan cara penentuan lokasi kapasitor di jaringan distribusi. Sehingga dengan mengkompensasi kapasitor maka jaringan distribusi lebih efektif dan efisien dalam menyalurkan daya. Dalam tugas akhir ini membahas rekonfigurasi jaringan menggunakan metode simple branch exchange dan penentuan lokasi serta nilai kapasitor untuk mereduksi rugi-rugi energi pada jaringan distribusi radial. Plant yang digunakan pada tugas akhir kali ini adalah penyulang Basuki Rahmat. Metode simple branch exchange merupakan jenis dari metode heuristik. Cara kerjanya dengan menyeleksi urutan loop dilakukan untuk rekonfigurasi jaringan distribusi. Setelah dilakukan rekonfigurasi pada jaringan distribusi dipasang kapasitor untuk mengurangi rugi-rugi energi serta menaikkan power factor jaringan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode simple branch exchange untuk merekonfigurasi jaringan dapat mengurangi rugi-rugi energi sebesar 12159 KWH. Setelah dipasang kapasitor pada jaringan maka rugi-rugi energi berkurang sebesar 18845 KWH. Dari ii hasil simulasi dengan menggunakan sistem distribusi penyulang Basuki Rahmat menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan rugi-rugi energi dari 55600 KWH menjadi 36755 KWH.


ABSTRACT

The increasing electric energy consumption must be balanced with good electricity network quality. To overcome this we need a distribution network reconfiguration. Reconfiguration in power distribution network is done to improve power distribution network quality. Problem that exist in the radial distribution network is energy losses. To lower the energy losses can be overcome by compensating capacitor. Done by determining the location of capacitors in distribution networks. With that the capacitor compensates the distribution network is more effective and efficient in distributing power. In this final project discusses the network reconfiguration using simple branch exchange method and determine the capacitor location and the capacitor value to reduce energy losses in radial distribution networks . Plant that used in this final project is Basuki Rahmat feeders. Simple branch exchange method is a kind of heuristic method . It works by selecting the order of the loop is done for distribution networks reconfiguration. After reconfigure the distribution network installed capacitors to reduce energy loss and increase the networks power factor. Simulation results show that the use of a simple branch exchange method for reconfiguring network can reduce energy loss by 12159 KWH . Once installed capacitors on the network energy losses reduced by 18845 KWH . From the simulation results using the distribution system Basuki Rahmat feeders showed that the decrease of energy losses from 55600 KWH become 36755 KWH .
