ABSTRAK

Minyak nyamplung Calophyllum inophyllum oil dikenal sebagai minyak yang tidak dapat dikonsumsi. Oleh sebab itu penelitian tentang minyak ini kebanyakan hanya terfokus pada konversi minyak menjadi biodiesel. Pada penelitian ini diharapkan agar trigliserida senyawa non polar terpisah dengan resin beracun yang ada di dalam minyak nyamplung itu sendiri dengan tujuan agar minyak nyamplung bisa dikonsumsi oleh manusia. Minyak nyamplung sendiri disinyalir mengandung senyawa anti HIV dan anti tumor yang sangat berfungsi bagi manusia. Resin beracun yang terdapat dalam minyak ini diidentifikasi sebagai phthalic acid ester PAE. Trigliserida dalam minyak nyamplung sendiri berkisar antara 70-80 sehingga jika trigliserida ini dapat terpisah dengan baik dari PAE atau komponen lain yang berbahaya dalam minyak nyamplung bukan tidak mungkin minyak nyamplung nantinya akan dapat dikonsumsi oleh manusia. Proses isolasi trigliserida dimulai dengan memisahkan senyawa yang diinginkan dari lipid menggunakan ekstraksi pelarut-pelarut dengan dua macam variable solvent yaitu n-hexane-methanol serta petroleum eter-methanol. Rasio jumlah solvent non polar dan polar ini juga divariasikan yaitu 7525 dan 5050. Untuk variabel rasio solvent terhadap minyak adalah 2 3 dan 5. Setelah itu semua sampel diuji dengan TLC dan GC kemudian diambil sampel dengan kondisi terbaik. Dalam penelitian ini kondisi yang terbaik adalah petroleum eter methanol 7525 dan rasio solvent terhadap minyaknya adalah 5. Sampel ini mengandung fraksi non-polar sebesar 5940 kemurnian trigliserida sebesar 7363 recovery trigliserida sebesar 9456 dan recovery FFA Free Fatty Acid sebesar 1079 . Sampel dengan kondisi yang terbaik ini kemudian di-multi stage sampai cuci ke-8. Semua fraksi methanol pada cuci ke 1-8 dan fraksi petrolium eter terakhir kemudian dianalisa dengan GC-MS.


ABSTRACT

Nyamplung oil Calophyllum inophyllum oil has been known as non-edible oil. Therefore research about this oil is mostly focused on the biodiesel conversion of its oil. In this research it is expected that the triglyceride non polar compounds can be separated from the toxic resin that contain in nyamplung oil so it can be consumed by humans. Nyamplung oil contains compounds allegedly anti- HIV and anti- tumor were very functional for humans . The toxic resins contained in this oil identified as phthalic acid ester PAE . Triglycerides in nyamplung oil itself ranges between 70-80 so if triglycerides can be separated by either of PAE or other harmful components it is possible nyamplung oil can be consumed by humans. Triglycerides isolation process begins by separating the desired compound of lipids using solvent-solvent extraction with two kinds of variables n- hexane - methanol and petroleum ether - methanol . The ratio of non -polar and polar solvents is also varied namely 7525 and 5050 . For variable solvent to oil ratio is 2 3 and 5. After that all the samples analized by TLC and GC and then sample with the best condition was taken. In this research the best condition was petroleum eter methanol 7525 and solvent to oil ratio is 5. This sample contains a non-polar fraction of 5940 triglyceride purity of 7246 the triglyceride recovery was 9456 and the FFA Free Fatty Acid recovery was 1079 . Then this sample is in the multi-stage up to 8th washing . After that all fractions of the methanol in 1st -8th washing and the last petroleum eter fraction analyzed by GC-MS.
