SIMULATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC AND SAVONIUS WINDMILL AS SOURCE OF ENERGY TO MOTOR DRIVER AT FISH BOAT

ABSTRAK

Kapalperahu nelayan pada umumnya menggunakan bahan bakar minyak sebagai sumber energi penggerak motor perahu. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan simulasi photovoltaic dan kincir angin savonius untuk mengganti bahan bakar sebagai sumber energi. Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan simulink sebagai alat bantu pemodelan sistem. Photovoltaic yang digunakan adalah 2 panel masing-masing 150 WP dan ukuran sebuah kincir angin savonius yang digunakan yaitu tinggi rotor 2 meter dan diameter rotor 15 meter untuk memenuhi kebutuhan load 380 watt selama 4 jam 1520 watt.jam. Dari hasil optimasi sistem hybrid dipilih 50 50 penggunaan daya output dari masing-masing sistem agar spesifikasi dan ukuran kedua sistem cocok digunakan untuk ukuran perahu dan tetap memenuhi kebutuhan load.


ABSTRACT

The small fish boat use fuel oil as source energy driver motor. So that need to do simulation of photovoltaic and savonius windmill to replace the fuel oil. This simulation use Simulink programs as tool to making sistem models. The simulation use two panels of photovoltaic 150 WP dan size of Savonius windmill use high of rotor 2 meter and diameters 15 meter for supplying load demand 380 watt for 4 hours 1520 watt.hours. Optimation of hybrid sistem use 50 50 of power from photovoltaic and savonius windmill systems and that value is comptitable for boat spesification and size. That value still can to supply of load demand.
