ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan model dari penelitian tentang suatu model heuristik dari rantai pasok multi eselon dengan diskon biaya transportasi dari Hill dan Galbreth 2008 serta penelitian tentang problem pengiriman dan pengepakan terintegrasi dari Attanasio 2007. Dalam model Hill dan Galbreth model yang dikembangkan adalah model yang mengakomodasi diskon biaya transportasi berdasarkan volume total dari barang yang dikirim secara keseluruhan. Model pengepakan dan pengiriman adalah suatu model yang mengakomodasi konsolidasi pengiriman dari beberapa order dalam suatu kendaraan yang sama berdasarkan kendala berat volume dan waktu deadline dari suatu order. Penelitian ini mengembangkan suatu model rantai pasok yang terdiri dari satu pabrik satu crossdock dan multiretailer. Pengiriman order produk tunggal dari pabrik ke crossdock menggunakan prinsip truckload sedangkan pengiriman dari crossdock ke retailer dimungkinkan dua pilihan yaitu konsolidasi pengiriman dengan prinsip truckload serta pilihan pengiriman dengan less than truckload LTL carrier yang menawarkan tarif diskon berdasarkan berat order yang dikirim. Implementasi model dengan suatu contoh numerik menunjukkan bahwa nilai fungsi tujuan yang optimal dipengaruhi oleh kapasitas kendaraan yang digunakan untuk mengkonsolidasikan pengiriman dari crossdock ke retailer tarif LTL carrier tarif biaya simpan serta alternatif ketersediaan pengiriman dari crossdock ke retailer.


ABSTRACT

This research develops two previous researches. Both of the researches are a heuristic for multi-echelon supply chain with transportation cost discounts by Hill and Galbreth 2008 and the integrated shipment dispatching and packaging problem by Attanasio 2007. In the model of Hill and Galbreth the model developed is a model considers the transportation cost discounts based on the total volume of goods delivered as a whole. The integrated shipment dispatching and packaging model is a model considers the consolidation of delivery of some orders in a similar vehicle based on the weight volume and time deadlines of each order constraints. This study develops a supply chain model consisting of one plant one crossdock and multiretailer. The single product deliver from factory to crossdock using principles truckload while shipping from the crossdock to retailer have two choices delivery. The first choice is delivering by truckload with consolidation possibility and the second is Less Than Truckload LTL shipping carriers that offer discounted rates based on weight of order sent. Implementation of this model with a numerical example shows that the value of the optimal objective function is influenced by the capacity of vehicles used to consolidate the delivery from crossdock to retailers LTL carrier fares inventory costs and the availability of alternative delivery from crossdock to retailers.
