PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN COBALT II ANILINE TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK DAN THERMAL EPOKSI SEBAGAI BAHAN ADHESIF BAJA ASTM A-36

DATA MINING APPLICATIONS FOR PREDICTING STUDENT PERFORMANCE BY DECISION TREE CLASSIFICATION METHOD

ABSTRAK

Epoksi resin adalah kelompok dari bahan thermosetting yang banyak digunakan sebagai perekat. Akselerator adalah bagian terpenting dari proses curing untuk mengubah dari keadaan cair ke kondisi termoset keras. Penelitian ini bertujuan bagaimana pengaruh penambahan akselerator cobalt stabilitas thermal serta kekuatan adhesif pada epoksi. Pertama pada epoksi di campur poliaminoamid dengan komposisi fraksi massa wt. Penambahan cobalt dengan variasi komposisi sebanyak 2 4 6 8 dan 10 dari epoksi dan poliaminoamid. Bahan yang telah dicampur kemudian diuji FTIR tarik SEM TGA Adhesif. Hasil pengujian meunjukkan penambahan akselerator cobalt meningkatkan Modulus Young kekuatan tarik dan menurunkan elongasi. Kekuatan tarik epoksicobalt tertinggi adalah 4404 MPa sedangkan pada cobalt 10 adalah 681 MPa. Stabilitas thermal meningkat dengan penambahan cobalt diatas 4 data 4 cobalt menunjukkan berat sisa pada 800 C senilai 596 untuk cobalt 10 senilai 943. Penambahan akselerator juga menaikkan kekuatan tarik dari adhesif. Data tertinggi diperoleh pada komposisi 4 cobalt yaitu 84 Mpa untuk cobalt 10 adalah 20 Mpa.


ABSTRACT

Epoxy resins is one of the thermosetting materials that widely used as adhesives. Accelerator is the most important part of reaction process of curing reacts with epoxy resin to change from a liquid state to solid state condition. This research purpose to addition effect of cobalt accelerators thermal stability and the strength of epoxy adhesive adhesive. First epoxy mixed with poliaminoamid using mass fraction. Addition of cobalt using variation composition 2 4 6 8 and 10 of the epoxy and poliaminoamid. In this study cobalt used as an accelerator. Then the characteristics was examined and analyzed with FTIR tensile test SEM TGA and adhesive strength. Test results addition of cobalt accelerators increase modulus youngs tensile strength and reduce of elongation. The point maksimum tensile strength of epoxycobalt is 44.04 MPa while addition 10 cobalt is 6.81 MPa. Thermal stability increase with the addition of 4 cobalt the data showed 4 cobalt weight lost at 800 C is 5.96 for addition 10 cobalt is 943. The addition of accelerators increase tensile strength. The maksimal point at 4 cobalt composition of 8.4 Mpa and for addition of 10 cobalt is 2.0 MPa.
