Analisis pushover konvensional yang juga dikenal sebagai analisis statik pushover yang sejauh ini dianggap baik ketika digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja struktur yang dominan mode pertama atau dengan kata lain untuk gedung bertingkat rendah dan menengah. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh berbagai aspek rasio dimensi gedung dengan panjang tinggi dan lebar dari gedung sebagai parameter yang terkait. Aspek rasio yang berhubungan dengan ketinggian gedung disebut kelangsingan. Rasio kelangsingan dalam penelitian ini adalah rasio antara tinggi dan panjang bangunan yang searah beban gempa. Rasio yang dipertimbangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 2 dan 3. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perpindahan lateral rasio drift dan gaya geser tingkat yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil analisis riwayat waktu nonlinier atau nonlinear time history analysis NLTHA. Secara umum hasil analisis pushover konvensional dari gedung dengan kelangsingan 1 2 dan 3 dan periode alami dari 0635-1617 detik menunjukkan bahwa analisis pushover konvensional masih memberikan prediksi yang baik pada perpindahan lateral dan rasio drift dari NLTHA. Dalam hal gaya geser tingkat memberikan sedikit perbedaan dengan MPA. Secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa MPA lebih akurat dari pushover konvensional. Gedung dengan rasio kelangsingan identik tetapi berbeda dalam ketinggian tidak selalu memberikan hasil yang sama dalam hal perpindahan lateral drift antar tingkat dan gaya geser ketika memiliki periode getar alami yang berbeda untuk MPA dan pushover konvensional.


The conventional pushover analysis which is also known as static pushover analysis is so far assumed to be good when used for evaluating the performance of first-mode dominant structures or in other words for low- to middle-rise buildings. This study focuses on the influence of various dimensional aspect ratios of the buildings with the height length and width of the buildings as related parameters. This aspect ratio when related to the height of the building is called slenderness. The slenderness ratio in the study is the ratio between height and the length of the building in the direction of seismic loading. The aspect ratios considered in the study are 1 2 and 3. The results of this study are lateral displacement drift ratio and story shear. They are then compared with the results of the nonlinear time history analysis NLTHA. In general the results of the conventional pushover analysis of the buildings with slenderness of 1 2 and 3 and natural periods of 0.635 to 1.617 seconds show that it still gives good prediction on the lateral displacement and drift ratio of NLTHA. In terms of story shear it gives slight difference with the MPA. Overall it shows that MPA is more accurate than the conventional one. Buildings with identical slenderness ratio but different in height do not always give the same results in terms of lateral displacement story drift and shear since they normally have different fundamental natural periods for both MPA and the conventional one.
