ABSTRAK

Eccentrically Braced Frames EBF adalah system rangka dengan balok dan kolom dengan pengaku dimana pada ujung dari setiap pengaku terhubung untuk mengisolasi bagian dari balok yang disebut link. EBF memiliki daktilitas yang tinggi seperti halnya pada system rangka penikul momen tetapi juga memiliki kekakuan yang tinggi seperti CBF. EBF diharapkan menahan deformasi inelastis yang signifikan pada link saat struktur mengalami gaya gempa. Pada EBF link merupakan bagian terlemah dari EBF jadi pada setiap kegagalan atau keruntuhan pada struktur harus terjadi kerusakan dahulu daripada link link harus memiliki tingkat daktilitas yang tinggi. Konsep desain EBF adalah link ditetapkan sebagai bagian yang akan rusak sedangkan elemen lain tetap berada dalam kondisi elastik. Tugas Akhir ini akan membandingkan 4 panjang link yang didesain sesuai dengan ketentuan yang ada dengan menggunakan type inverted-v. Dari perbandingan link tersebut akan dianalisa dengan menggunakann finite element analysis. Dari hasil analisa abaqus maka diketuhui linkdengan panjang 06 memiliki daktilitas yang paling besar yaitu dengan nilai 16 dan link dengan panjang 25 memiliki faktor daktilitas terkecil dengan nilai 507. Link 06 juga memiliki nilai tegangan dan regangan yang semakin besar dibanding yang lain. Sehingga dapat diketahui dari analisa pushover dan finite element analysis bahwa link yang optimum digunakan yaitu link geser murni.


ABSTRACT

Eccentrically Braced Frames EBF is a frame system with beams and columns with stiffeners which at the end of each stiffener connected to isolate part of beam is called link. EBF has a high ductility as well as on Moment Resisting Frame but also has a high rigidity such as CBF. EBF is expected to withstand significant inelastic deformation on the links when the structure take an earthquake force. In EBF link is the weakest part of the EBF so every failure or collapse of the structure must occur on the link first the link must have a high level of ductility. EBF design concept is the link defined as part which to be damaged while other elements remain in elastic condition. Melting that occurs on a link element can be slide melting or flexure melting. This final project will compare 4 type length of the link which designed from existing regulations by using inverted-v type. From the comparison of these links will be analyzed with ABAQUS v.6.7 program. The result will be compared with previous studies and will get the most optimum length of link and structure behavior. From the analysis of ABAQUS the smallest known link is And pushover pure shear have greater ductility and stress and strain values are greater than others.
