KEMAMPUAN DAKTILITAS BAJA TULANGAN DENGAN MUTU DIATAS 400 MPA UNTUK DISAIN STRUKTUR TAHAN GEMPA

DUCTILITY OF REINFORCING STEEL WITH YIELD STRENGTH ABOVE 400 MPa FOR SEISMIC RESISTING STRUCTURAL DESIGN

ABSTRAK

Perkembangan industri baja Indonesia mengalami kemajuan dengan kemampuan memproduksi baja dengan mutu diatas 400MPa. Dilapangan banyak digunakan baja dengan mutu diatas 400MPa yang memiliki nilai tegangan leleh baja fy lebih besar sehingga struktur dengan beban gravitasi menjadi lebih ekonomis. Namun baja mutu diatas 400MPa kurang daktail dan SNI 03-2847-2002 pasal 11.4 belum membolehkan pemakaian baja mutu tinggi untuk struktur dengan beban gempa karena dikhawatirkan akan memicu gaya geser dan tegangan lekatan lebih tinggi pada saat mencapai momen leleh. Keadaan ini akan menjurus terjadi kegagalan getas oleh geser. Disain struktur tahan gempa memakai konsep disain kapasitas dengan detailing yang memungkinkan tercapainya kemampuan energi disipasi yang optimum di sendi-sendi plastis balok dan kolom. Salah satu ukuran tingkat daktilitas suatu struktur adalah Curvature Ductility yang merupakan ratio dari kurvatur ultimit terhadap kurvatur yield . Pengukuran memerlukan diagram tegangan-regangan baja dan diagram tegangan-regangan beton . Penelitian terdahulu memperlihatkan perilaku deformasi sendi plastis sangat tergantung pada karakteristik fs - . Pada daerah sendi plastis dari balok selama gempa rencana regangan pada tulangan tarik dapat naik lebih banyak dari pada regangan baja sebelum first yield karena adanya flat plateau. Selanjutnya kenaikan yang besar pada kekuatan lentur flexural overstrength dari komponen struktur beton bertulang adalah karena adanya strain hardening. Adanya flexural overstrenght ini bila tidak diperhitungkan akan menyebabkan kegagalan geser. SNI 03-2847-2002 ps 23.2.5.1 telah memberikan nilai 125 untuk fy 300 saMPai fy 400 MPa. Namun belum memberikan nilai untuk mutu baja diatas 400MPa.Penelitian baja dengan mutu diatas 400 MPa hasil produksi Indonesia ini menghasilkan diagram f - baja yang mendekati model diagram f - baja yang diusulkan oleh Mander . Diagram f - baja ini digunakan untuk analisa momen kurvatur. Hasil akhir dari analisa momen kurvatur berupa nilai kurvatur daktiliti yang lebih dari 20 dan nilai flexural overstrength faktor sebesar 147 - 158.


ABSTRACT

Development of Indonesia steels industries have progress with ability to produce steel with fy value above 400MPa. In work field steel with fy value above 400MPa is widely used. Steel with fy value above 400MPa having bigger yield strength so the structure with the load of gravity becomes more economical. The steels with fy value above 400MPa less ductile and SNI 03-2847-2002 Article 11.4 prohibits the use of high quality steels for the structure to earthquake loads because it is predicted to arise a shear force and adhesion tension higher when it reaches the yield moment. This situation will lead to brittle failure occurs by shear force. The seismic resisting structural design uses the concept of capacity design with detailing that allows the attainment of optimum energy dissipation capacity in the joints of plastic beams and columns. One of the ductility measure level of a structure is the curvature ductility which is the ratio of curvature ultimite to the curvature yield . Measurement requires the steel stress-strain diagram and concrete stress-strain diagram . Previous studies showed plastic deformation behavior of joints is highly depended on the characteristics of fs - .In the area of the beam plastic joints during earthquake tensile strain in the reinforcement can be increased more than the steel strain before the first yield because of the flat plateau. The next major increase in flexural strength of components of reinforced concrete structures are due to strain hardening. If the existence of flexural overstrenght is not calculated so it will lead to shear failure. SNI 03-2847-2002 ps 23.2.5.1 has provided the value of flexuraloverstrength factor 1.25 for fy 300 MPa up to fy 400 Mpa But does not give a value of for steel with fy value above 400MPa. Research of steel Indonesia produces with fy value above 400Mpa resulted steel stress-strain diagram closes to the steel stress-strain diagram proposed by Mander. Steel stress-strain diagram is used for the analysis of moment curvature. The final results of moment curvature analysis are ductility curvature value which is more than 20 and the flexural overstrength factor 1.471 to 1.576.
