ANALISA PERUBAHAN KARAKTERISTIK FISIK MEKANIK DAN DINAMIK TERHADAP SIKLUS PENGERINGAN PEMBASAHAN PADA TANAH ASLI DAN TANAH YANG DI STABILISASI MENGGUNAKAN KAPUR DAN FLY ASH DI DESA SUMBER AJI KOTA BATU - MALANG
CHARACTERISTICS MECHANICAL AND DYNAMIC OF DRYING WETTING CYCLES ON NATURAL SOIL AND STABILIZATION SOIL BY USE LIME AND FLY ASH IN SUMBER AJI VILLAGE OF KOTA BATU- MALANG
Negara Indonesia adalah negara yang terletak digaris khatulistiwa sehingga Negara Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh dua
musim yaitu musim hujan dan musim kemarau. Hal ini mengakibatkan secara alami tanah mengalami siklus pengeringan
pembasahan berulang sehingga mempengaruhi karakteristik tanah baik sifat fisik sifat mekanik maupun sifat dinamik yang terjadi karena adanya perubahan volume tanah yang disebabkan
perubahan kadar air. Siklus ini juga terjadi pada tanah yang berada di lereng Desa Sumber Aji Kota Batu Malang. Akibat adanya siklus pengeringan dan pembasahan yang
berulang tersebut kekuatan tanah yang berada di lereng Desa Sumber Aji Kota Batu Malang mengalami penurunan sehingga perlu dilakukan stabilisasi tanah. Cara peningkatan kekuatan
tanah tersebut dilakukan secara kimiawi di laboratorium dimana pada penelitian ini bahan stabilisasi yang digunakan adalah kapur dan fly ash. Adapun penelitian sifat fisik pada tanah meliputi kadar air Wc angka pori e derajat kejenuhan Sr specific
gravity Gs kepadatan kering 404d berat volume tanah 404t batas atterberg LL PL PI beserta analisa saringan dan hydrometer. Sifat mekanik meliputi kohesi c dan tegangan air
pori negatif -Uw. Sifat dinamik meliputi modulus geser maksimum Gmax dengan pengujian elemen bender.
ABSTRACT
Indonesia is a country that is underlined equator so that the Indonesian state is influenced by two seasons the rainy season and dry season. This resulted in soil naturally suffered repeated cycles of wetting drying thereby affecting soil
characteristics good physical properties mechanical properties
and dynamic properties that occur due to changes in volume due to changes in soil water content. This cycle also occurs in the soil on the slopes of Sumber Aji village Kota Batu - Malang.
Due to the drying and wetting cycles are repeated soil strength on the slopes of Sumber Aji village Kota Batu - Malang decreased soil stabilization so that needs to be done. By
increasing the strength of the soil chemically induced in the laboratory which is in this study used lime and fly ash as stabilization material. The study on soil physical properties
include water content Wc void ratio e the degree of saturation Sr specific gravity Gs dry density 404d heavy soil volume 404t Atterberg limits LL PL PI with sieving analize and hydrometer. Mechanical properties include cohesion c and
pore water pressure is negative -Uw. Dynamic properties include the maximum shear modulus Gmax with bender
element testing.
