Gunung Merapi yang terletak di antara kabupaten
Yogyakarta dan Magelang Jawa Tengah. Pada tahun 2010 lalu
meletus dan memuntahkan 7.000.000.000 m3 material. Semua
material tersebut tersebar di beberapa sungai di sekitar gunung
Merapi.
Sungai Pabelan adalah salah satu sungai yang terkena
muntahan material gunung Merapi material material yang
tersebar akan menimbulkan banjir lahar dingin pada saat musim
hujan dan dapat membahayakan pemukiman penduduk di sekitar
hilir Sungai Pabelan. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut perlu
dibangun bangunan Sabo Dam atau bangunan pengendali
sedimen. Sungai Pabelan yang memiliki luas DAS 4090 km2
panjang sungai 3510 km dan kemiringan dasar sungai sebesar
38. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan baik
analisa hidrologi dan analisa hidrolika maka didapatakan debit
sungai sebesar 20918 m3det dengan lebar pelimpah bawah Sabo
Dam 6275m tinggi total Main Dam 198 m kedalaman pondasi
Main Dam 48 m panjang apron 24 m tebal apron 25 m dan
tinggi total Sub Dam 575 m. Berdasarkan perencanaan tersebut
Sabo Dam Merapi PA-C2 ini diharapkan mampu menahan
material lahar dingin sebesar 745.544726 m dan mampu
meredam laju lahar dingin sehingga bisa meminimalisir
kerusakan yang terjadi pada bagian hilir Sungai Panbelan.
ABSTRACT
Merapi Mountain is located between Yogyakarta district
and Magelang district Central Java. In 2010 it has been erupted
and spewing 7.000.000.000 m3 materials. All of these materials
is spreading on the several rivers in Merapi mountain.
Pabelan river is the one of the several rivers that affected
by Merapi eruption the materials who has been spreading on the
Pabelan river will create a cold lava flood during rainy seasons
and it can be dangerous for the villagers on the downstream
Pabelan river. To anticipated this problem we must to built a
Sabo Dam or Sediment Control Structure. Pabelan river who have
large DAS Watersheds 4090 km2 leght of the river is 3510 km
and the slope of the riverbed is 38. Based on calculation that
has been done Hidrological analisis and Hydroulics analisis and
then obtained the steamflow is 20918 m3det the width of the
bottom spellway is 6275 m the Main Dam total height is 198 m
The Main Dam depth of foundation is 48 m leght of the apron is
24 m thick of the apron is 25 m and the total height of Sub Dam
is 575 m.
Based on that planning PA-C2 Merapi Sabo Dam are
expected to restrain cold lava flood materials up to 745.544726
m and muted that speed. So it can minimize the damage that
occurred on downstream Pabelan riv
