ANALYSIS OF CONSTRUCTION REPAIR COST OF FISHING VESSEL MADE FROM FIBER-RIENFORCER PLASTIC BASED ON LEVEL DAMAGE DUE TO COLLISION

ANALISIS BIAYA PERBAIKAN KONSTRUKSI KAPAL IKAN BERBAHAN BAKU FIBER-REINFORCED PLASTIC BERDASARKAN TINGKAT KERUSAKAN AKIBAT TUMBUKAN

ABSTRAK

Sekarang ini bahan baku fiberglass masih banyak digunakan dalam industri perkapalan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan masih banyaknya kapal ikan yang dibangun menggunakan bahan baku fiberglass. Dalam beroperasi kapal fiberglass seringkali mengalami kerusakan akibat benturan dengan dermaga atau dengan kapal lain. Terjadinya kerusakan ini mengakibatkan keraguan pihak pemilik kapal dalam melakukan perbaikan kapal. Tumbukan yang keras mengakibatkan kerusakan pada bagian sisi geladak dan alas dan bahkan kerusakan satu ring blok kapal. Secara teknis bagian-bagian yang rusak pada kapal masih bisa diperbaiki dengan metode perbaikan konvensional. Analisis dari segi kekuatan didapatkan kesimpuan bahwa kapal mengalami penurunan kekuatan pada daerah sambungan dikarenakan adanya perbedaan nilai modulus young pada material kapal dan material sambungan. Penurunan ini cukup besar yaitu 8.9. Pengaruh penurunan nilai moulus young pada stress yang bekerja pada konstruksi kapal dapat dianalisis dengan menggunakan pemodelan numerik. Hasil analisis memodelan dapat disimpulkan bahwa besar stress yang bekerja pada badan kapal masih dibawah nilai yang diizinkan material yaitu sebesar 3.63 x 108 Pa. Sedangkan nilai maksimum pada pengujian model numerik hanya sebesar 0.462 x 108 Pa. Sedangkan dari segi ekonomis proses reparasi kapal terdiri dari beberapa komponen biaya. Komponen-komponen biaya tersebut meliputi biaya material langsung biaya tenaga kerja langsung biaya overhead dan biaya jasa pengedokan. Besar biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh pemilik kapal berbanding lurus dengan besar kerusakan yang terjadi. Peningkatan besar biaya yang dikeluarkan tiap kenaikan 1 rata-rata sebesar Rp 3.368.49103.


ABSTRACT

Nowdays fiberglass material are still widely used in the world of shipbuilding industry. It is seen from the number of fishing boats that are built using fiberglass. During operation fiberglass boat are often damaged in a collision because of a dock or another boat. This damage mae owner feel doubt in conducting ship repair. Hard collision resulted in damage to the side deck and bottom and even damage to the boat ring block. Technically the damage area on the boat can be repaired with conventional repair methods. Analysis in term of strength was concluded that the boat has decreased streng in the connection area due to the difference of youngs modulus of the boat and material connections. The dicrease is quite large at 8.9. The effect of reduction of youngs modulus on boat hull stress can be analyzed with numerical modeling. The result of the modeling analysis can be concluded that the major stress on the hull still bellow the allowable that is equal to 3.63 x 108Pa. The maximum value of of numerical model testing is 0.462 x 108Pa. While economically boat repair process consist of several cost components. The components of such costs include direct material costs direct labor costs overhead costs and docking costs. The costs to be incured by the owner is direct proportional to the damage occured. The increase of cost every 1 increase is Rp 3.368.49103.
