ABSTRAK

Istilah STEALTH mungkin sudah tidak asing lagi yaitu teknologi yang sering diguanakan pada aircraft kapal atau pesawat. Yaitu sebuah kapal yang di desain menjadi kapal yang sulit dideteksi oleh radar atau secara visual sehingga biasa disebut kapal siluman. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa dari kapal patroli 48 meter menjadi sebuah kapal yang dapat dikategorikan kapal STEALTH. Dengan design kapal patrol 48 meter yang sudah ada akan dilakukan proses design untuk mengubah kapal menjadi kapal tempur berteknologi STEALTH. Dari hasil desain ulang kapal didapatkan ruang kapal yang semakin menyempit dan terjadi penurunan resistance sehingga pada kecepatan dinas 23 knot dibutuhkan daya engine sebesar 1341 HP. Sehingga mempengaruhi jumlah DWT maupun LWT sebanyak hampir 10.


ABSTRACT

STEALTH term may be familiar a technology that is often used on aircraft ships or aircraft. That is a ship in a ship design that are difficult to detect by radar or visually so called stealth ship. This thesis aims to improve the performance of patrol vessel 48 feet into a vessel that can be categorized STEALTH ship. With a 48 meter patrol ship design existing design process will be done to turn the ship to ship combat STEALTH technology. From the results of a redesign of the ship found space narrowing vessels and decrease resistance so that in 23 knots service speed of engine power required for 1341 HP. Thus affecting the amount of DWT and LWT by nearly 10.
