ABSTRAK

Saat ini lokasi telah memainkan peran penting dalam suatu komputasi. Ada banyak teknik yang dapat digunakan dalam menentukan lokasi pengguna dan Global Positioning System GPS adalah yang paling populer. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuat sebuah sistem pelacakan yang menghemat daya perangkat GPS dan di lain hal informasi penting yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna tetap didapatkan oleh pengguna secara optimal seperti jalan kecepatan dan berbagai perjalanan yang harus dicatat yang dapat digunakan untuk deteksi. Aplikasi ini memakai sebuah cara yang disebut Efisiensi Pembaruan Posisi. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengurangi daya perangkat GPS sehingga bisa lebih efisien dan hemat energi. Metode ini menggunakan algoritma Sequence Matching dan metode Titik Penting di dalam prosesnya. Berdasarkan dari uji coba yang dilakukan aplikasi ini mampu melakukan pelacakan tanpa pembacaan GPS secara terus-menerus namun dengan hasil yang mendekati akurasi pencarian posisi menggunakan GPS dengan rata-rata sebesar 7708819897 meter dan dapat menghemat penggunaan energi telepon pintar sebesar 3.


ABSTRACT

Nowadays location has played an important role in the computation. There are many techniques that can be used in determining the location of the user and Global Positioning System GPS is the most popular. On this Final Projects the author want to create a tracking system that saves power of GPS and in another case important information needed by the user remains obtained by the user with optimal such as roads speed and a variety of trips that must be recorded that can be used for detection. These applications use a method called Position Update Efficiency. This method is used to reduce the power of GPS devices that can be more efficient and save energy as well as to reconstruct the user route. This method uses Sequence Matching algorithms and important point methods in the process. Based on the test the application is able to perform tracking without GPS readings continuously but with results that approach the accuracy of GPS positioning with an average of 77.08819897 meters and can save smart phone energy consumption by 3.
