ABSTRAK

Pemeliharaan kapal di Unit Perkapalan PT.Pelabuhan Indonesia III Persero adalah meliputi Docking repair overhaul mesin induk mesin bantu alat bantu dan kelistrikan serta pemeliharaan system propulsi termasuk rekomendasi dan pengurusan surat-surat kapal dari Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia. Salah satu Kapal tunda yang dimiliki Oleh PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III adalah Kapal Tunda Anggada X yang sedang dilaksanakan Docking repair. Dalam proses Docking repair ini akan dilakukan suatu perbaikan. Baik perbaikan maupun penggantian mesinpenggantian pelat pengecatan penggantian Zinc Anode dan lain sebagainya. Hal ini menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kapal yang mengalami Docking repair.Badan kapal yang tercelup air yang berada dibawah garis air ataupun diatas garis air rentan terhadap korosi. Korosi yang terjadi pada pelat lambung akan mengakibatkan menurunnya kekuatan dan umur pakai kapal kecepatan pada kapal dan jaminan keselamatan pada kapal tersebut. Perlu dilakukannya suatu perlindungan terhadap pelat lambung kapal yang tercelup air. Ada 3 tiga cara perlindungan yang dilakukan pada pelat lambung kapal terhadap korosi yaitu menghindari penyebab korosi perlindungan secara pasif dengan pengecatan dan perlindungan secara aktif dengan metoda cathodic protection . Pada Field Project ini penulis akan mencoba menganalisa tentang proses penggunaan Zinc Anode pada pelat baja kapal Anggada X tersebut. Diharapkan dalam studi penggunaan Zinc Anode pada pelat baja kapal Anggada X terhadap laju korosi dapat mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal.


ABSTRACT

Maintenance on the ship in unit shipping PT.Pelabuhan Indonesia III Persero is the cover Docking repair overhaul the Parent engine auxiliary machinery tools and electrical from the Coorporate of Classification Indonesia ship one of tugboat owned by PT.Pelabuhan Indonesia III is being implement.Good engine repair replacement plates painting replacement of Zinc Anode and so forth. It adjust to the need ships that had Docking repair. The submerged hull of water which is under the waterline and above of waterline susceptible to corrosion. Corrosion that occurs in the hull plates would result in reduced strength and life of the shipthe speed of the ship guarantee the safety of the ship. Need to do a protection againts the submerged ship hull plate of water. There are 3 three ways of protection passively with painting and the protection actively with the method of cathodic protection . The ship will try to analyze the process of using the steel plate Zinc Anode. Hope in the analysis process on the use of Zinc Anode Plate steel vessel of Corrosion Rate Anggada X to obtain maximum results.
