ABSTRAK

Proyek pelebaran jalan dengan menutup kalisungai mengunakan box culvert direalisasikan pemerintah kota Surabaya pada tahun 2010. Dengan adanya proyek ini diharapkan kemacetan lalu lintas dan banjir yang kerap terjadi di Surabaya dapat dikurangi. Kemacetan yang kerap terjadi sudah dapat dikurangi namun banjir yang kerap terjadi belum dapat ditanggulangi. Hal itu terjadi karena adanya penumpukan sampah di dalam box culvert. Selama ini sampah itu dibersihkan secara manual. Berdasarkan masalah itu mesin pembersih sampah box culvert dirancang sebagai sistem penunjang untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Perencanaannya dimulai dengan cara menentukan kapasitas sampah memilih elemen mesin melakukan perhitungan konstruksi box culvert dan kontruksi mesin. Perancangan ini dilengkapi dengan pembuatan alat simulasinya. Untuk menganalisa perhitungan tegangan kontruksi software bantu perhitungan beban digunakan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa rancangan mesin pembersih sampah dengan sistem kerja dua arah yaitu vertikal dan horizontal. Sistem gerak vertikalnya menggunakan bucket elevator dengan kapasitas angkat sebanyak 33 tonjam panjang 405 m lebar 063 m dengan ukuran bucket 400 x 140 x 180 R 45 mm dan daya penggerak sebesar 5 Hp. Sistem gerak horisontalnya menggunakan conveyor belt dengan spesifikasi kapasitas angkut 30 tonjam panjang 238 m lebar 067 m diameter pulley 250 mm jarak antar idler 033 m dan daya penggerak 018 kW. Pembuatan alat simulasi mesin pembersih sampah box culvert dapat digunakan dengan skala 14 dan animasi visual. Kata kunci Box culvert mesin pembersih sampah software bantu.


ABSTRACT

Road widening project by closing a river using a box culvert Surabaya City government realized in 2010. This project is expected to reduce traffic congestion and flooding that occurred in Surabaya. Congestion that often occurs is to be reduced because of the box culvert project but for the flood problem cant be resolved yet. That may be happens because of the build up of garbage inside the box culvert. Based on the problem garbage cleaning machines on the box culvert is designed to support systems to solve the problem. The planning starts with determine the capacity of garbage selecting machine elements calculation box culvert construction and construction machinery. The design is equipped with simulation of machine. To analyze the stress calculation of construction load calculation software was used to help. The end result of this research is design of garbage cleaniang macine with two-way working system vertically and horizontally. Vertical motion system using bucket elevator with liting capacity 33 tonhour length 405 m 063 m wide bucket zise 400 x 140 x 180 radius 45mm and locomotion by 5 Hp. Horizontal motion system using conveyor belt payload capacity 30 tonhour length 238 m 067 m of wide 250 mm diameter pulley idler pitch 033 m and 018 propultion power.
