DESAIN STANDAR KAPAL NELAYAN TRADISIONAL 20 GT DI PESISIR UTARA JAWA TIMUR

STANDARD DESIGN OF TRADITIONAL FISHERMAN BOAT WITH 20 GT IN NORTHERN COASTAL OF EAST JAVA

ABSTRAK

Selama ini para nelayan tradisional hanya menggunakan keterampilan yang didapatkan secara turun-temurun dalam upaya pembangunan kapal dan salah satu aspek yang harus dimiliki adalah pengetahuan pembuatan kapal itu sendiri. Banyaknya model kapal nelayan tradisional yang ada perlu dibuatkan suatu desain standar. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak adanya desain standar dari kapal nelayan tradisional di wilayah Jawa Timur khususnya di pesisir utara Laut Jawa. Desain kapal yang akan distandarkan dipilih sesuai batasan masalah yang ada yaitu bagian lambung dan yang berkapasitas 20 GT Gross Tonnage. Sebelumnya dilakukan observasi kapal-kapal di daerah yang telah ditentukan. Hasil obsevasi berupa data kapal mulai dari principal dimension muatan daerah pelayaran alat tangkap mesin yang digunakan dan spesifikasi lain kapal serta gambar visual dari kapal. Dari data-data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan beberapa software bantu dan referensi-referensi sebagai acuannya disini digunakan buku FAO Technical Paper sebagai acuannya. Penentuan ukuran utama kapal diperoleh menggunakan metode regresi linear untuk proses pembuatan gambar lines plan dan rencana umum menggunakan software bantu Maxsurf9 dan Autocad 2007. Untuk menentukan kebutuhan mesin digunakan software bantu Hullspeed. Sedangkan untuk penentuan ukuran dan kebutuhan material menggunakan klasifikasi BKI 1996 Kapal Kayu. Hasil akhir dari pembuatan desain standar ini berupa principal dimension dengan panjang LOA 1683m panjang Lpp 1581m lebarB 36m TinggiH 17m SaratT 132m Cb 055 Vs 8 Knots bill of materialkebutuhan material kayu yaitu sebesar 898 m3 lines plan stabilitas kapal kurva hidrostatik building sequence dan gambar visual dari kapal tersebut. Juga dapat diketahui kebutuhan mesin sebesar 24 hp dari kecepatan yang direncanakan yaitu sebesar 8 Knots dengan software bantu Hullspeed. Desain Standar tersebut bertujuan untuk memudahkan kita dalam proses pembangunan kapal nelayan tradisional khususnya yang berukuran 20 GT Gross Tonnage. Desain standar kapal ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam membangun kapal nelayan baru.


ABSTRACT

During this time the traditional fishermen only use the skills acquired by generations in an effort to ship building and one of the aspects that must be owned shipbuilding is knowledge itself. There are many models of traditional fishing boats need to be made a standard design. This is because there is no standard design of a traditional fishing boat in East Java especially on the north coast of Java Sea. Ship design that will be standardized selected according to the existing problem definition that is hull and 20 GT Gross Tonnage capacity. Previously conducted observations of ships in the area who have been determined. The result of observation is principal dimension ship cargo shipping area fishing gear machinery used and other specifications of the vessel including visual images of the ship. From the data obtained and processed with several software aids and reference here used books FAO Technical Paper as rerefernce.Determination of principal dimension is using linear regression methods to make lines plan and general arrangement using software Maxsurf9 and AutoCad2007. To determine the need for auxiliary engines use software Hullspeed. As for determining the need materials using classification from BKI Wooden Ships 1996. The end result of this standard design in the form of principal dimension with LOA 1683m Lpp 1581m B 36m H 17m T 132m Cb 055 Vs 8 Knots bills of wood materials is 898 m3 lines plan ship stability hydrostatic curves building sequences and visual images of the ship. Also can be known the engine capacity as 24 hp from planned speed 8 Knots using Hullspeed software. Design Standard aims to facilitate us in the building process especially the traditional fishing boats 20 GT Gross Tonnage capacity. Design standards of this vessel can also be used as a reference in building a new fishing boat.
