ABSTRAK

ABSTRAK Pressure Vessel sering diaplikasikan pada industri Oil dan Gas. Karena adanya pressure tersebut maka komponen-komponen penyusunnya membutuhkan kalkulasi yang harus teliti dan sesuai aturan yang telah ada. Untuk itu dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan dua kali kalkulasi. Yaitu kalkulasi dengan menggunakan suatu perangkat lunak software yang dibandingkan denagn perhitungan manual yang telah sesuai aturan ASME 2007 Section VIII Div.1. Software Compress 6258 merupakan software yang akan digunakan untuk membantu kalkulasi pada proses perancangan ini karena di dalamnya memuat aturan yang telah ditentukan. Setelah hasil kalkulasi diperoleh lalu dilakukan suatu analisa menggunakan software Nastran untuk mengetahui berapa tegangan maksimum yang terjadi Dari hasil kalkulasi menggunakan software dan perhitungan manual didapatkan hasil yang sama karena telah sesuai dengan ASME Section VIII Div.1 untuk komponen head shell nozzle dan reinforcing pad. Sedangkan untuk komponen saddle dan lifting lug hasilnya tidak sama karena tidak diatur dalam ASME Section VIII Div.1. Berdasar hasil analisa menggunakan software Nastran didapatkan tegangan maksimum yang relatif sama pula. Dengan adanya software Compress 6258 ini perancangan sebuah vessel pada proses belajar maupun pada suatu industri nantinya dapat dipercepat dan dipermudah. Kata kunci Software Compress 6258 software Nastranhead shell nozzle reinforcing pad saddle dan lifting lug.


ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Pressure Vessel is often applied to the Oil and Gas industry. Because the pressure the constituent components need to be calculated carefully and appropriate to the rules that already exist. For that reason in this final assignment the calculations are made twice. The first is calculated by using a software that compared to manual calculation that already have been matched to the rules ASME 2007 Section VIII Div.1. Compress 6258 software is a software that will be used to assist calculation in designing process because it contains rules that have been determined. After the calculation results obtained it needs to conduct an analysis using Nastran software to find out how the maximum stress occurs. From the result of the calculations using the software and manual calculations it is obtained that both of them have the same results because it has been in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div.1 to the component head shell nozzle and reinforcing pad. As for the saddle and lifting lug component results are not the same because it is not stipulated in the ASME Section VIII Div.1. Based on the analysis results using Nastran software it is obtained the same maximum stress as well. With the Compress 6258 software designing a vessel in the learning process as well as on an industry can then be speeded up and simplified.
