ABSTRAK

Didalam dunia industri fabrikasi tidak lepas dari suatu tindakan inspeksi NDE Nondestructive Test yaitu salah satu inspeksi tidak merusak yang salah satunya adalah Radiography Test RT yang dapat digunakan untuk memeriksa produk baru atau pemeriksaan berkala. Inspeksi ini banyak digunakan dalam dunia industri salah satu mengaplikasian metode ini digunakan pada industri yang berbasis pressure vessel dengan pipa berisi fluida bertekanan. Dalam penelitian ini diperlukan penggunaan simulasi pipa bertekanan yang di kondisikan hampir sama seperti di industri dengan variasi tekanan kerja hingga 20 bar. Teknik yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah teknik double wall single images. Dengan diberikan variasi tekanan pada pipa berisi fluida mesin x-ray akan terabsorbsi sehingga membutuhkan waktu penyinaran yang berbeda setiap perbedaan tekanan. Setelah melakukan penembakan pada pin hole didapatkan nilai dari focal size mengalami perubahan hal ini di sebabkan oleh terkikisnya permukaan target pada mesin x-ray. Dan mendapatkan nilai FFD yang berbeda untuk menembak pipa berisi fluida bertekanan. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan perbedaan tekanan mempengaruhi lamanya waktu penyinaran semakin besar tekanan yang diberikan s semakin lama waktu yang dibutuhkan. Tetapi nilai dari sensitifitas tidak banyak berpengaruh dan cenderung tidak mengalami perubahan.


ABSTRACT

In the fabrication of the industrial world can not be separated from an act of NDE inspection nondestructive test is one of the inspections do not undermine one of which is the Radiography Test RT that can be used to check for new products or periodic checks. Inspections are widely used in industry one of apply this method is used in industry-based pressure vessel with a pipe containing a pressurized fluid. In this study required the use of simulation in the pressurized pipe conditioning is almost the same as in the industry with a variation of up to 20 bar working pressure. The technique used for this study is the technique of double wall single images. Given the variation of pressure on the pipe containing the fluid x-ray machine will be absorbed and thus require a different exposure time of each pressure difference. After doing the shooting at the pin hole obtained the value of focal size changes is caused by erosion of the target surface on x-ray machine. And get a different value to shoot FFD pipe containing a pressurized fluid. From the tests the pressure difference affects the duration of exposure the greater the pressure exerted the longer it takes. But the value of sensitivity is not much of an effect and are less likely to change.
