ABSTRAK

Radiografi merupakan jenis pengujian tidak merusak non destructive test yang sulit dan komplek. Jenis film yang berbeda akan menghasilkan hasil gambar yang berbeda meskipun dengan parameter yang sama. Sehingga perlu dibuatkan suatu formula untuk mendapatkan sebuah parameter yang tepat sehingga memperoleh hasil penembakan yang baik serta efisien. Salah satu parameter dalam pengujian radiografi adalah waktu penyinaran. Waktu penyinaran diperoleh dari fungsi yaitu hubungan antara tegangan kerja dengan nilai Half Value Layer HVL. Nilai HVL diperoleh dari perhitungan dengan menembak step wedge. Dari penembakan tersebut juga akan didapatkan laju paparan radiasi mesin untuk menghitung fungsi waktu penyinaran. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan material Alumunim 5083 mempunyai nilai HVL 14.8 mm untuk tegangan 130 kV dan 11.75 mm untuk tegangan 150 kV. Dari hasil percobaan juga didapatkan laju paparan radiasi mesin yaitu 91.645 mRaddet untuk tegangan 130 kV dan 137.91 mRaddet untuk tegangan 150 kV


ABSTRACT

Radiography is complicated and complex non destructive examination type. Different film type will be different result although with same parameter. So that need require to be made a formula to get a correct parameter to obtain good result and efficient. One of the parameter in examination of radiography is exposure time. Exposure time obtained from function that is correlation between voltage with value of Half Value Layer HVL. Value of HVL obtained by calculation from step wedge shoot result. From result of examination also got of exposure radiation machine to make function of exposure time. From result of examination Aluminum 5083 material having value of HVL 14.8 mm for 130 kV voltage and 11.75 mm for 150 kV voltage. From result of examination also got of exposure radiation machine that is 91.645 mRadsec for 130 kV voltage and 137.91 mRadsec for 150 kV voltage.
