ABSTRAK

Untuk mengurangi keterbatasan penggunaan energi yang tak terbarukan dalam pembangkitan energi listrik khususnya maka diperlukan energi-energi alternatif lain sebagai penggantinya misalnya energi angin. Kincir Angin yang dikopel dengan Generator DC akan berputar terkena hembusan angin sehingga Generator DC juga ikut berputar dan mengeluarkan tegangan. Karena nilai tegangan yang dihasilkan tidak stabil maka diperlukan konverter DC-DC agar tegangan dapat stabil dan mampu dimasukan ke rangkaian battery charger. Konverter buck digunakan untuk menurunkan nilai tegangan generator jika melebihi nilai tegangan setpoint dan konverter boost digunakan untuk menaikan nilai tegangan konverter jika nilai tegangan yang dihasilkan kurang dari nilai tegangan setpoint. Kedua MOSFET pada rangkaian konverter DC-DC ini switchingnya diatur oleh PWM Pulse Width Modulation yang dibangkitkan oleh mikrokontroler. Efisiensi rangkaian buck cukup rendah yakni 60 dengan arus output maksimum 056 ampere dan tegangan output maksimum 702 volt. Sedangkan rangakaian boost memiliki efisiensi tinggi yakni 90 dengan arus output maksimum 024 ampere dan tegangan output maksimum yang dihasilkan 223 volt.


ABSTRACT

To reduce the limitations of using non-renewable energy in electric energy generation in particular it would require other alternative energies as a successor such as wind energy. Windmills are coupled with a DC generator will rotate so that the wind gusts hit by a DC generator also rotates and removing the voltage. Because the voltage generated is not stable it would require a DC-DC converters for voltage can be stable and able to be included into the battery charger circuit. Buck converter is used to lower the value of the voltage generator if the voltage exceeds the setpoint value and boost converters are used to raise the value of a voltage converter if the voltage generated is less than the value of the voltage setpoint. Both MOSFETs in DC-DC converter circuit is switchingnya regulated by PWM Pulse Width Modulation generated by mikrokontroler. The eficiency of buck converter just 60 with maximum current 056 ampere and the output voltage maximum 702 volt. And for the boost converter have a high efficiency with maximum current output 024 ampere and the maximum output voltage 223 volt.
