ABSTRAK

PT. X bergerak dibidang industri food and beverage dengan hasil produknya berupa minuman isotonik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di PT. X adalah terjadinya kerusakan pada mesin sebelum jadwal perawatan yang sudah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Konsekuensi yang harus dihadapi yaitu terjadinya downtime yang menimbulkan berhentinya proses produksi dan bertambahnya biaya dalam perbaikan yang menimbulkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Obyek penelitian ini adalah mesin Blow Molding yaitu mesin yang digunakan untuk memproduksi botol plastik. Mesin ini dipilih karena memiliki downtime paling tinggi dibandingkan mesin lainnya. Dalam menganalisa kebijakan perawatan hal awal yang perlu dilakukan yaitu mengukur kinerja dari mesin yang diamati. Dalam pengukuran kinerja mesin dapat menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE dimana hasil dari OEE berupa persentase yang menunjukkan seberapa baik mesin bekerja. Setelah diketahui OEE langkah berikut yang dilakukan yaitu perencanaan kebijakan perawatan dengan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance II yang menganalisa secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan FMEA yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kegagalan serta efek yang timbul dari kegagalan yang terjadi dan RCM II Worksheet yang berguna sebagai lembar kerja yang mencakupi informasi dalam kebijakan tindakan program perawatan. Dan analisa kuantitatif berguna untuk mengetahui interval perawatan yang terbaik dan penentuan biaya perawatannya. Hasil Perhitungan OEE menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE Blow Molding masih berada di bawah nilai OEE optimal dengan nilai OEE tertinggi pada bulan Januari 2015 sebesar 6035 dan terendah pada bulan Maret dan Mei 2014 sebesar 3231. Analisa RCM II menunjukkan kegiatan perawatan scheduled on condition task merupakan tindakan yang cocok untuk dilakukan. Hasil analisa penentuan interval perawatan menunjukkan komponen preform and bottle transfer turntable memiliki penurunan biaya paling banyak yaitu sebesar 7559.


ABSTRACT

PT. X is a food and beverage company with the end product are isotonic drinks. The problems that PT. X faced is the occurrence of machine failure before the scheduled maintenance. Consequences that must be faced is the downtime which cause the production process to stopped and increase the cost for repairing that result in losses for the company. Object of this research is Blow Molding machine which is a machine that produces plastic bottles. This machine is chosen because it has the highest downtime than other machines. In analyzing the maintenance program the initial thing to do is to measure the performance of the machine. In measuring the performance of the machine we can use Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE methods where the result of OEE shows percentage of how well the machine works. Once known the OEE of the machine the next steps is to construct maintenance program with Reliability Centered Maintenance II where we use Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to identified the failure cause and the failure effects and RCM II Worksheet which covering information for maintenance program. Then calculating the maintenance interval and maintenance cost. OEE calculation results show that the OEE value of Blow Molding machine is still under the optimum value with the highest OEE value shown on January 2015 with value 6035 and the lowest OEE value on March and May 2014 with value 3231. RCM II analysis shown that scheduled on condition task is the suitable action for the maintenance program. Results of the maintenance interval shown that preform and bottle transfer turntable components is having the most cost reduction for maintenance with 7559
