Description:

Sistem distribusi air bersih dan hydrant merupakan salah satu bagian terpenting dari instalasi perpipaan pada gedung, sehingga perancangan sistem dilakukan dengan perhitungan yang tepat sesuai dengan struktur desain fungsi gedung itu sendiri. Sedangkan pada gedung Robotika ITS Surabaya dilengkapi dengan sistem distribusi air bersih dan sistem pemadam kebakaran, dikarenakan sering diselenggarakan kontes robot dan acara-acara lainnya, maka berakibat adanya lonjakan dalam pemakaian air bersih serta alat pemadam kebakaran yang selalu siaga dalam pengamanan dari kebakaran. Oleh karenanya, perlu dilakukan perhitungan pada sistem distribusi air bersih dan sistem hydrant di gedung Robotika ITS Surabaya. Perhitungan sistem distribusi air bersih dan hydrant yang dilakukan meliputi : sistem distribusi air bersih meliputi penaksiran kebutuhan air bersih, pemilihan sistem penyedian dan pipa air bersih, penentuan kapasitas dan dimensi dari tangki air, penentuan diameter pipa air serta pemilihan pompa air yang sesuai. Pemadam kebakaran meliputi penaksiran kebutuhan kapasitas air pemadam kebakaran, penentuan volume reservoir bawah, penentuan diameter pipa air pemadam kebakaran, perhitungan ketebalan dinding pipa,jangkauan radius area, perhitungan dan pemilihan pompa pemadam yang sesuai. Serta standar yang digunakan adalah NFPA 10, NFPA 14, NFPA 15, NFPA 20, HFPA 22, NFPA 291, NFPA 1963 untuk hydrant pilar dan hydrant box. Sedangkan SNI 03-7065-2005 digunakan untuk properties instalasi air bersih. Hasil yang peroleh dari perhitungan, bahwa untuk mengatasi lonjakan kebutuhan air bersih pada sistem air bersih saat diselenggarakan kontes robot maupun acara lainnya maka diperlukan diameter pipa utama pada gedung arena sebesar 2,5 inch, tiap sistem tangki atap memerlukan pompa bosster dengan head dan kapasitas (Gedung Arena Left (H=4m; Q=11,3m3/hr); Gedung Arena Right dan VIP (Heff=4,13m; Q=14,9m3/hr); Gedung Lab (Heff=5,05m; Q=11,36m3/hr) dan pompa utama (Heff=23,64m; Q=37,5m3/hr). Sedangkan pada sistem hydrant dari hasil perhitungan untuk mengatasi jika terjadi kebakaran, diperlukan volume suction recervoir sebesar 324m3.

Water distribution system and hydrant is one of the most important part of the installation of piping in the building, so the system design is done by exact calculation in accordance with the design of the structure function of the building itself. While at the Robotika ITS Surabaya building is equipped with clean water distribution systems and fire protection systems, because often held contests robot and other events, the result of a surge in the use of water and fire protection are always ready in the security of the fire. Therefore, it is necessary to do calculations on the water distribution system and hydrant system in the Robotika ITS Surabaya building. Calculation of water distribution system and hydrant system tests performed included: water distribution system includes water needs assessment, system selection and provision of water pipes, the determination of capacity and dimensions of the water tank, water pipe diameter determination and the selection of a suitable water pump. Include assessment of the needs of fire fighters water capacity, determination of the volume of the suction reservoir, determination of the diameter of fire hydrant,calculation wall thickness, calculation radius area, calculation and selection of an appropriate fire pump. Standards used is NFPA 10, NFPA 14, NFPA 15, NFPA 20, HFPA 22, NFPA 291, NFPA 1963 for fire hydrant pillar and Indor hydrant box. While SNI 03-7065-2005 properties used for the installation of water distribution system. The results obtained from calculations, that to address the surge in need of clean water on a clean water system when the robot contest held and other events it would require a diameter of main pipe in the building arena by 2.5 inch, each system requires a pump bosster roof tank with a head and capacity (Left Arena building (H = 4m; Q = 11.3 m3/hr); Right Arena building and VIP (Heff = 4.13 m, Q = 14.9 m3/hr); Lab building (Heff = 5.05 m, Q = 11 , 36m3/hr) and the main pump (Heff = 23.64 m, Q = 37.5 m3/hr). While on the hydrant system of the calculation to cope if there is a fire, it is necessary recervoir suction volume of 324m3.
