Berdasarkan kebijakan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bouven Digul, Propinsi Papua yaitu untuk mengembangkan potensi yang ada dan meningkatkan ekonomi di beberapa daerah yang masih terisolir dari pusat kota, maka diadakannya beberapa usaha peningkatan jalan pada beberapa ruas jalan salah satu diantaranya adalah Mindiptana – Waropko dimana ruas jalan tersebut merupakan salah satu akses menuju ke Ibu Kota Kabupaten. Sesuai dengan data yang diperoleh dan hasil dari perhitungan, didapatkan panjang trase jalan Mindiptana – Waropko adalah sepanjang 14 km dengan lebar jalur lalu lintas 7m dan lebar bahu jalan 2 m yang merupakan jalan 2 lajur 2 arah tanpa median (2/2 UD). Kecepatan rencana jalan 60 km/jam. Dari perencanaan alinyemen horisontal diperoleh hasil sebanyak 31 PI (Point Of Intersection). Dan untuk perencanaan alinyemen vertikal didapat 72 PPV (Peralihan Pusat Vertikal). Sedangkan untuk pelebaran jalur lalu lintas di tikungan sebesar 1 m. Dari perencanaan tebal perkerasan didapatkan tebal perkerasan setebal 0,50 m dengan rincian 0,10 m untuk lapisan permukaan berupa laston; 0,20 m untuk lapisan pondasi atas berupa stabilisasi tanah dengan semen; dan 0,20 m untuk lapisan pondasi bawah berupa tanah lempung kepasiran. Saluran tepi jalan direncanakan berbentuk trapesium yang terbuat dari pasangan batu dengan dimensi lebar dasar 0,5 m, tinggi saluran 1 m dan kemiringan talud 1:1 sedangkan kecepatan aliran sebesar 1,5 m/detik. Untuk perhitungan volume galian didapatkan sebesar 123450,627 m³ dan volume timbunan didapatkan sebesar 27557,947 m³.

According to Bouven Digul Regency, Papua Province policy, to develope the local potential and to increase the economic activity of some remote region away from the regency down town, there are some efforts to extencified the road line on some regency road, one of them is Mindiptana – Waropko section, wich is one of the acces to reach the regency down town. Base on data calculation result, its shows that trace distance between Mindiptana – Waropko is 14 km, 7m traffic lane in wide and 2m shoulder wide wich is used for 2 traffic lane and opposite direction without the median (2/2 UD). The design speed is 60 km/hour. According to the horizontal and vertical alignment design in row, it resulting 31 PI (Point of Intersection) and 72 PPV(Vertical Centre Transition). And for curve widening is 1m. The pavement layer thickness design it shows the thickness is 0,50m; in detail 0,10m surface layer wich is laston; 0,20m base course layer wich is soil – cement stabilization ; and 0,20m subbase course layer wich is sand clay. Side ditch design is trapezoid shape form by stone arrangement with 0,50m base line wide, 1m in depth and slope is 1:1 and speed flow is 1,5 m/s. The calculation of cut and fill volume are 123450,627m³ and 27557,947m³.
