ABSTRAK

Pada setiap kegiatan produksi terdapat aktifitas Value Adding VA dan Non value Adding NVA. Dalam Toyota Production Sistem aktifitas yang Non value Adding diupayakan dihilangkan atau diminimumkan. Lamp Components Factory PT Philips Indonesia yang memproduksi komponen lampu Salah satunya adalah exhaust tube yang berfungsi untuk menyangga elektroda juga berupaya untuk menghilangkan Non value Adding. yaitu defect dan banyaknya produk berkualitas bagus namun terbuang. Jumlah Produk defect ini mencapai 2.1 dari seluruh total produksi. Sedangkan untuk produk yang terbuang mencapai 38 dari seluruh total produksi. Pada penelitian ini akan diidentifikasi penyebab defect dan produk yang terbuang. Setelah diketahui penyebabnya maka akan dilakukan alternatif perbaikan sehingga dapat menguranggi defect dan produk yang terbuang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah alternatif perbaikan berupa penggantian pemberat perata exhaust tube pada belt conveyor disamping itu ditetapkan standart pelaksanaan adjustment mesin cutting.


ABSTRACT

Any production activity there are 2 types of actifity named Value Adding VA and Non value Addin NVA activity. in Toyota Production System Non value Adding NVA must be minimize. Lamp components factory PT Philips Indonesia produce lamp components. One of this product is the exhaust tube also has to minimize Non value Adding NVA There are defect and alot of goods quality products that have been scraped. In existing condition total product defec is 21 out of total production. While scrap production is 38 out of total production. This cause of defect and scraped production have been found. After have found cause of defect and production scrap. Researcher gives alternatives improvment to minimize defect and scraped production. Results this research are the improvment production process there are tool conveyor replacement and adjustment of cutting machine using the company standart.
