ABSTRAK

Elastic Shoulder merupakan produk dari besi cor nodular FCD 450 yang diproduksi melalui proses gravity casting.Sifat mekanik besi cor nodular FCD 450 dipengaruhi oleh komposisi kimia serta nodularity Magnesium Ferrosilikon TDCR 5 dapat mempengaruhi kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Dalam penelitian ini pembuatan besi cor nodular FCD 450 dilakukan dengan memvariasikan jumlah TDCR-5.Variasi jumlah TDCR-5 yang dipakai yaitu 0.92 1.01 1.16.Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah uji tarik uji kekerasan dan pengamatan struktur mikro dengan menggunakan mikroskop optik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan jumlah TDCR-5 dengan komposisi 1.16 merupakan produk elastic shoulder terbaik yang memiliki nilai UTS 567.07 Nmm2 elongation 15.4 kekerasan 170 HBN 90 nodularity nodul count 125 pcsmm2 dan 85 ferrit


ABSTRACT

Elastic Shoulder is a product of nodular cast iron FCD 450 is produced by gravity casting process. The mechanical properties of nodular cast iron FCD 450 is influenced by chemical composition and nodularity Magnesium Ferrosilikon TDCR 5 can affect the quality of the product. Process of nodular cast iron FCD 450 varying by amount of TDCR 5.Variation of TDCR 5 amount used is 0.92 1.01 1.16.Testing is done by tensile hardness and metallography of microstructure using metallurgy microscope. The result of this research showed that the addition of TDCR-5 with a composition of 1.16 is the best shoulder elastic product which has a value of UTS 567.07 Nmm2 elongation 15.4 hardness 170 HBN 90 nodularity 125 pcsmm2 nodule count and 85 ferrit
