Tugas Akhir ini konsentrasi pada perbandingan gedung struktur baja 10 lantai Open Frame biasa tanpa pengaku dengan struktur bangunan baja yang menggunakan dinding geser pelat baja. Dengan kata lain, pada struktur Open frame biasa tanpa pengaku gedung ini direncanakan untuk menerima keseluruhan beban gempa dan struktur yang akan menerima beban tersebut adalah pada kolom dan baloknya, dan dinding geser pelat baja pada struktur bangunan baja ini berfungsi menerima beban gempa yang lebih besar yang mana bangunan ini direncanakan pada zona gempa kuat. Dalam perencanaannya, peraturan yang dipakai adalah SNI 03-1726-2002 dan SNI 03-1729-2002. Analisa struktur untuk mendapatkan gaya-gaya yang bekerja dilakukan dengan bantuan software SAP versi 14, dan untuk Analisa dinding geser pelat baja menggunakan software Abaqus .Output dari tugas akhir bangunan Open Frame ini adalah perbandingan terhadap efektifitas pada struktur Open Frame biasa tanpa pengaku dengan struktur yang menggunakan dinding geser pelat baja. Dalam hal ini adalah terhadap Geser dasar maksimum, momen maksimum dan Simpangan.

This Final Project focus at comparing steel structure 10 floors Momen Resisting Frame, and Steel Plate Shear Wall structure. At Momen Resisting Frame structure this building plan to receives all quake load and structure which will receive this load is to column and beam, and to Steel Plate Shear Wall structure, functioning to recives bigger quake load at this braces. Which this building plan at stong earthquake Zone.In its planning, regulation used is SNI 03-1726-2002 and SNI 03-1729-2002. Structure analysis to get forces with help of SAP version 14 software and to shear wall analysis with help of Abaqus software.Output from this Final Open Frame structure Project is comparing to effectivity, Moment Resisting Frame and Steel Plate Shear Wall. In this case is to base shear maximum, maximum moment and drift.
