ABSTRAK

Saluran pengendap pasir sand trap banyak dijumpai di bangunan pengambilan air dari sungai untuk kepentingan irigasi. Saluran ini dibuat dengan maksud untuk mengendapkan pasir agar tidak masuk ke saluran irigasi diharapkan air yang masuk ke saluran irigasi relatip bersih dengan konsentrasi kecil. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah menerapkan metode beda hingga finite different method untuk menyelesaikan persamaan differensial aliran air sebagai dasar pembuatan program komputer soft ware berbahasa Borland Delphi 5 pada saluran pengendap pasir sand trap menguji kemampuan model terhadap hasil penrjukuran di lapangan serta menerapkan nilai efisiensi dan simulasi sedimen pad i saluran pengendap pasir sand trap. Analisa yang dilakukan terdiri dari data debit kecepatan aliran kedalaman air dan data hasil pengukuran dv lapangan sebagai dasar perhitungan angkutan sedimen total dengan pendekatan formula Engelund Hansen Leo Van Rijn dan Enstein Brown. Nilai ini sebagai data masukan formulasi empiris model satu dimensi 1 - D pada saluran pengendap pasir sand trap yang dikembangkan Eysink Vermaas 1983. Hasil pengujian model mempergunakan steady state test pada Saluran Tersier Prambon Sidoarjo didapat hubungan antara debit pengukuran di lapangan dengan debit model merupakan fungsi transformasi logaritma. Untuk diameter butiran rata-rata 000018 m panjang efektif saluran pengendap pasir sand trap 10 m didapat nilai efisiensi pada akhir saluran pengendap pasir sand trap angkutan sedimen yang mengendap 99999998 serta yang masuk ke saluran irigasi melayang 0000002 perkiraan waktu pengerukan 62.000 hari.


ABSTRACT

Sandtrap channels are usually found at the rivers intake for irrigation purposes. These channel were made to settle sands and prevent them from entering the irrigation channel. As a result the water that enter the irrigation channel will be relatively clean with small concentration. The objectives of this research are applying finite different method to solve waterflow differential equation as the basis for computers software construction using Borland Delphi 5 language for sandtraps testing models ability against field measurement result also applying efficiency point and sediment simulation of sandtraps. This analysis consist of discharge data flow velocity water depth and field measurement result data as the basis for total load calculation using Engelund Hansen Leo Van Rijn and Enstein Brown formulation approach. The result is using as an input data for sandtraps one dimensional empirical model formulation which was developed by Eysink and Vermaas 1983 . Form the test result using steady state test at Tertiary Channel in Prambon Sidoarjo we conclude that relation between field measurement and models discharge was logarithm transformation function. For mean grain diameter 000018 m and sandtraps effective length 10 m we could know the efficiency value at the end of sandtraps sediment load 99999998 the sediment that enter the irrigation channel 0000002 and also dredging time estimation 62.000 days.
