ABSTRAK

Lumpur lapindo mengandung Natrium Na dan Clorida Cl yang sangat tinggi yaitu 192 sehingga memiliki salinitas yang tinggi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfologi dan anatomi akar kacang hijau Vigna radiata pada media tanam campuran tanah dan lumpur lapindo. Dalam penelitian ini konsentrasi lumpur lapindo yang digunakan sebagai campuran adalah 0 kontrol 10 20 30 40 50 60 dan 70. Pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi morfologi tinggi tanaman panjang akar menggunakan penggaris dan jumlah bulu akar diamati menggunakan mikroskop stereo Olympus SZ 51 Japan. Pengamatan anatomi tebal sel epidermis korteks endodermis dan diameter stele menggunakan fitomikroskop Olympus BX 41 Japan dengan dibuat irisan preparat dan pewarnaan safranin. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Dunnet dengan taraf kepercayaan 95. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tingkat konsentrasi lumpur lapindo dalam media tanam mengakibatkan tinggi tanaman dan panjang akar lebih pendek dan jumlah bulu akar lebih sedikit begitu pula pengamatan anatomi berukuran lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan tanaman kontrol.


ABSTRACT

Lapindo mud contain high concentration of Natrium Na and Chloride Cl therefore having high salinity. The purpose of this study is to know morphological and anatomical structure of beans Vigna radiata roots in the medium of soil and Lapindo mud mixture. Lapindo mud that used as a mixture were 0 control 10 20 30 40 50 60 and 70. Plant morphology observed include plant height and roots length by ruler and stereo microscope Olympus SZ 51 Japan to observe the number of roots hair while the anatomy include the epiderm thickness cortex thickness endoderm thickness and stele diameter observed by photomicroscope Olympus BX 41 Japan prepared previously by making a section and stained with safranine. Data analyzed by ANOVA then continued by Dunnet test at level 95. The result showed that increasing of Lapindo mud concentration level in soil medium result in shorter plant height and roots length and fewer roots hair while compared to the control plants. On anatomical was smaller than control plants.
