Description:

Studio rekaman pada dasarnya terdiri atas dua ruang penting yaitu ruang perekaman musik atau speech dan ruang kontrol. Untuk mendapatkan hasil rekaman yang memadai, studio rekaman memerlukan kualitas akustik ruang yang memenuhi standar. Oleh karena itu, pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perancangan akustik ruang dari studio rekaman tersebut. Metode yang dipakai dalam perancangan adalah penentuan nilai Sound Transmission Class (STC) dari bahan yang akan dipakai untuk dinding pembatas ruang. Dengan menghitung nilai Transmission Loss (TL) dari selisih antara bising latar belakang dan nilai Noise Criteria standar untuk ruang studio rekaman, kemudian dihitung nilai STC dengan plotting TL per frekuensi dengan kontur standar STC.. Bahan penyerap bunyi pada ruang ditentukan dari tabel referensi sampai memenuhi standar waktu dengung optimum ruangan. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan bahwa studio rekaman dirancang memakai dinding utara dengan STC-42 dan dinding timur dengan STC-49 memerlukan bahan insulasi bata yang diplester. Dan pada dinding selatan dan barat dengan STC-48 memerlukan bahan insulasi balok beton berlubang. Waktu dengung tertinggi yang dihasilkan adalah 0,47 detik dan masih memenuhi standar acuan waktu dengung optimum untuk studio rekaman dengan volume 300 m2 yaitu 0,4 detik. Sedangkan untuk dinding timur ruang musik dipasang dinding dengan STC-63 yaitu lapisan bata, papan kayu,dan lubang. Untuk dinding selatan ruang vokal dipasang bahan papan gips dua lapis berangka kayu. Dan untuk dinding utara ruang lobby dipasang papan gips tanpa selimut isolasi.

A recording studio basically consist of two important room, music or speech recording room and control room. To obtain better recording result, recording studio needs quality room acoustics that achieve the standard. Therefore, in this Last Task is to be done a design of room acoustics from recoding studio. The method that used in the design is to determine Sound Transmission class value from material that will use to be room border wall. With calculation of Transmission Loss (TL) value from difference between background noise and Noise Criteria standard value at recording studio, and then STC value is calculated with TL plotting per frequency based on standard STC contour Sound absorption material at room is defined from reference table until fulfilling standard optimum of room reverberation time From the calculation result we obtain that recording studio is designed to place north wall with STC-42 and east wall with STC-49, that need insulation material made from plastered brick. At south wall and west wall is placed insulation material from concrete block with hole. The highest reverberation time from result is 0.47 second and still fulfilling standard optimum for recording studio with volume 300 m2 that is valued 0.4 second. Meanwhile, east wall from room music is placed a wall with STC-63, made from layer brick, wood and hole. For south wall, we place material from gypsum board with wood-frame. And north wall of lobby room is placed gypsum board without isolation blanket
