Description:

Mineral Uranium merupakan salah satu sumber energi alternatif yang selama ini belum maksimal pendaya gunaannya, dikarenakan keterbatasan data dan informasi cadangan mineral uranium, dengan menggunakan teknologi penginderaan jauh (remote sensing) dan survei geofisika diharapkan mampu menyediakan data spasial yang memadai dalam inventarisasi sumber cadangan. Satelit yang mendukung penyediaan data spasial untuk pemetaan ini adalah LANDSAT 7 ETM+ yang menghasilkan citra multi band dan memiliki resolusi spasial 30x30 m dengan luas liputan 185 km. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode color composit untuk klasifikasi citra, dan menggabungkan data anomali radiometri batuan dari alat SPP2NF. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mineralisasi U diduga terdapat pada satuan batuan malihan pinoh dan urat reolit, dengan nilai rata-rata anomali radiometri lapangan tertinggi 500 c/s dengan sebaran yang tidak merata, karakteristik seperti ini belum cukup untuk dijadikan sebagai daerah prospek uranium. Hasil yang didapatkan berupa peta prediksi mineral uranium daerah Ketapang, Kalimatan Barat.

Uranium Mineral represent one of alternative energy source which during the time not maximal to exploiting yet, because the limited of data and information the reserve uranium mineral, by using technology of remote sensing and geophysics survey expecting to supply spatial data that fulfil in stocktaking of reserve source. The satellite that supporting spatial data supplies for the mapping is LANDSAT 7 ETM+, that produces multi band image and has spatial resolution 30x30 m with coverage over 185 km. In this research using color composite method for image classifying and associating the data of rock radiometric anomaly from SPP2NF device. The Result shows that the uranium mineralisation can be expected at the set of pinoh metamorphics and vein of reolit, and the highest average values of field radiometric anomaly is 500 c/s with unaverage spreading, this characteristic is not to become as field of uranium prospect. so we can get the map prediction of uranium mineral location.
