Description:

Getaran pada kapal yang berlebih akibat adanya resonansi yang terjadi akan memberikan dampak kerusakan fisik struktur dan berpengaruh pada kenyamanan bagi crew pada saat operasional di kapal. Disamping itu juga, performance peralatan yang terkait dalam sistem akan menurun akibat adanya resonansi getaran yang terjadi.Resonansi getaran yang terjadi dapat dihindari sebelumnya, dengan aplikasi perancangan pada tahap ship design dalam menganalisa frekuensi natural kapal. Dalam hal ini studi analisa getaran dilakukan pada pondasi mesin induk karena sering terjadi resonansi getaran berlebih.Dalam metode Finite Element struktur yang dianalisa dibagi-bagi dalam element-element yang lebih kecil dan sederhana (mesh) dalam jumlah yang berhingga dengan pemberian nilai kondisi batas daripada struktur yang disimulasikan tersebut. Dengan simulasi ship design, pada metode Finite Element dapat menghitung nilai eingienvalue dan eingienvector yang secara fisik merupakan perwujudan dari nilai frekuensi natural dan modus getar sehingga dapat digunakan dalam melakukan analisa getaran

Excessive vibration resulted from resonance will have damaging effect for ship structure and crew occupational health when working in the engine room. Else, corresponded equipments performance will decrease.Vibration resonance that happened can avoid previously with scheme application phase of ship design in natural frequency analysis of ship. In this case study analyse vibration at main engine foundation, because often happened excessive vibration resonance. In Finite Element method for analysis structure was assorted in simple and smaller elements (mesh) in number which till with give some value condition of boundary that structure simulation. With simulation of ship design, Finite Element Method can calculate value of eingienvalue and eingienvector which physically represent materialization of natural frequency value and tremble modus so that can be used in vibration analysis
