Description:

Perencanaan gedung tahan gempa pada saat ini menititikberatkan pada life safety (keselamatan jiwa). Sehingga yang terjadi ketika gempa yang sangat kuat melanda suatu bangunan, korban jiwa dapat diperkecil karena bangunan tidak mengalami keruntuhan total. Maka untuk menghindari keruntuhan total harus diperhatikan bahwa pada gempa yang kuat struktur bangunan akan mengalami plastifikasi oleh karena itu energi dari gempa yang akan mengenai gedung harus diarahkan ke suatu titik yang akan leleh terlebih dahulu. Dalam tugas akhir ini digunakan metode desain sistem bracing yang dinamai bracing V terbalik untuk meredam gaya lateral. Akan tetapi pada portal dengan bracing V terbalik yang konvensional timbul permasalahan mengenai ketidakseimbangan gaya vertikal yang disebabkan karena menekuknya salah satu bracing pada lantai bawah. Ketidakseimbangan gaya yang terjadi ini berpengaruh langsung pada balok lantai, mengakibatkan perlunya balok dengan dimensi besar dan relatif tidak efisien pada sistem struktur. Efek yang tidak menguntungkan ini dapat diatasi dengan penambahan kolom zipper atau sebuah komponen struktur vertikal yang menghubungkan antara titik perpotongan bracing pada lantai bawah dan lantai atasnya. Untuk mendapatkan perilaku struktur yang lebih baik diperkenalkan sistem suspended, yang pada intinya adalah penambahan rangka dengan sifat elastis pada bagian puncak gedung. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih baik tentang perilaku bangunan saat digoncang gempa dilakukan analisa variasi gedung diperkuat zipper kolom dan tanpa zipper kolom dengan metode konsep performance based seismic design. Konsep ini memiliki kemampuannya untuk menunjukkan keadaan riil gedung pada saat menerima gaya gempa, gedung akan bersifat non linier, cara kerjanya menggunakan analisa statik non linier pushover yang built-in pada program ETABS. Adapun metoda evaluasi kinerja struktur yang dipakai berdasarkan FEMA 356 dan FEMA 440. Akhirnya diperoleh nilai duktilitas, mekanisme pelelehan, target perpindahan dan tingkatan kinerja.

Effect can not beneficial this can be overcome with column increasing zipper or a vertical structure component that connects between intersection points bracing in floor under and floor on it. to get structure behaviour better introduced system suspended, which is on the kernel draft increasing with elastic character in building top part.
