Tinjauan refleksi gelombang dalam struktur pelindung pantai adalah penting. Refleksi gelombang merupakan parameter untuk mengukur seberapa besar kemampuan suatu bangunan memantulkan gelombang. Diperlukan suatu perencanaan bangunan yang tepat guna mendapatkan reduksi koefisien refleksi gelombang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara besarnya koefisien refleksi gelombang Kr yang terjadi dengan kerapatan akar mangrove. Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil percobaan model fisik pengukuran refleksi gelombang pada 4 model mangrove dengan variasi kerapatan akar. Gelombang yang dibangkitkan berupa gelombang reguler dengan variasi periode gelombang T antara 5 dt sampai 8 dt dan variasi tinggi gelombang H antara 0.15 m sampai 0.4 m. Pemodelan yang digunakan adalah kesebangunan geometrik undistorted model dengan skala 14. Pengukuran gelombang dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua buah wave probe di depan struktur dengan variasi jarak probe 1 dan 2 61508L yaitu 0.75 m 1 m dan 1.25 m sehingga diperoleh data profil gelombang 9511 dcm 9512. Dengan data 951 tersebut dapat diketahui besarnya koefisien refleksi gelombang Kr oleh struktur. Dari hasil percobaan ini disimpulkan bahwa struktur mangrove cenderung mereduksi refleksi gelombang pada pengujian periode gelombang pendek terhadap tinggi gelombang yang besar pada tiap-tiap percobaan. Kr terkecil terjadi pada variasi gelombang masukan T 5 dt terhadap H 0.4 m. Koefisien refleksi Kr dari hasil percobaan besarnya antara 0.07 - 0.99. Dari keempat model yang diuji koefisien refleksi gelombang terkecil Kr 0.067 - 0.15 dihasilkan oleh mangrove model 1 dengan kerapatan terbesar dan kondisi periode gelombang terkecil T 5 detik serta tinggi gelombang terbesar H 0.4 m.


The wave reflection in coastal protection structure is important. Wave Reflection represent the parameter to measure the ability of structure to reflect wave. The accurate structure planning is needed to find the reduction of wave reflection coefficient. The aim of this research is to know the relation between wave reflection coefficient Kr that happened with strongly on the density of the mangrove. This research present result of attempt physic model of measurement wave reflection on 4 mangrove model with the variation mangrove density. Regular waves having various wave periods T between 5 sec until 8 sec and various wave heights H between 0.15 m until 0.4 m. This physic model is used by geometric similarity undistorted model with the scale 1 4. Wave measurement is conducted by using two wave probe in front of the structure with the distance variation of probes 61508L 0.75 m 1 m and 1.25 m so that obtained data of wave profile 9511 and 9512. With the data knowable the level of wave reflection coefficient Kr by structure. From this attempt result is concluded by that structure mangrove tend to reduce the wave reflection at the examination of short wave period on high of big wave at every attempt. The Smallest Kr is resulted by wave variation input T 5 sec on H0.4 m. The result of wave reflection coefficient Kr from attempt is 0.07 - 0.99. From 4 model the examinee smallest wave reflection coefficient is Kr 0.067 - 0.15 yielded by mangrove model 1 with the strongest density smallest wave period condition T 5 sec and highest wave H 0.4 m.
