RANCANG BANGUN MEKANISME PEMOTONG PADA MINI COMBINE HARVESTER MACHINE

ABSTRAK

Mekanisasi pertanian untuk proses pemanenan padi mulai gencar dilakukan. Pemerintah telah mengimpor alat pemanen padi yang disebut combine harvester machine. Peralatan ini berfungsi untuk memotong dahan sampai merontokkan gabah namun dalam pengoperasiannya tidak berfungsi secara optimal. Selain mahal penyebab utama alat tidak berfungsi optimal adalah dimensi yang besar serta bobot yang terlampau berat sehingga tidak cocok untuk kondisi persawahan Indonesia yang bertanah lunak dan berarea berpetak-petak. Karena itu perlu dibangun mini combine harvester machine. Mini combine harvester machine dirancang memiliki empat bagian penting yakni mekanisme pemotong pengumpan perontok dan penggerak. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan mekanisme pemotongan sekaligus juga gearbox penggeraknya. Mekanisme dirancang untuk mengubah putaran yang kontinyu mejadi gerak sliding dengan batasan displacement pada pisau yakni sejauh 25 mm ke kiri dan ke kanan sesuai dengan jarak antar pisau yang tersedia di pasar. Sementara gearbox dirancang untuk mengubah besar dan arah putaran sekaligus mentransfer daya dari pulley menuju mekanisme pemotong dan pengumpan. Dari hasil penelitian didapat kapasitas pemotongan sebesar 20 jamha untuk kecepatan maju traktor 25 kmjam. Mekanisme pemotong dirancang dengan menggunakan mekanisme Coriolis. Desain gearbox menggunakan roda gigi bevel bertingkat dimana roda gigi satu akan menggerakkan mekanisme pemotong dan roda gigi yang lain menggerakkan mekanisme pengumpan.


ABSTRACT

Agriculture mechanization for paddy harvesting process begins now intensively. Government has imported some tools for harvesting paddy called combine harvester machine. This tool is used to reap bough and even thresh shell of rice but this tools isnt operated in an optimal fashion. Beside it cost a lot the main caused this tools doesnt operated so well are because the dimension are too big and the weight are too heavy so it just doesnt fit for Indonesian rice-field condition which have soft soil and check area. In consequence it is need to built mini combine harvester machine. Mini combine harvester machine are designed to have four main part are reaper feeder thresher and train mechanism. In this research were done reaper mechanism design and also the activator gear box. Mechanism are designed for changed continuous rotation to be sliding motion with displacement constrain for knife that is 25 mm in left side and in right side are fitted with the distance between the knife available in the market. Meanwhile the gearbox is designed to change value and direction of rotation and also transfer power from pulley into reaper and feeder mechanism. From research result we get reaping capacity 20 hoursha and onward velocity of tractor 2.5 kmhour. Reaper mechanism is designed by using Coriolis mechanism. The design of gearbox is using high rise bevel gear where one gear will move reaper mechanism and other gear move feeder mechanism.
