Kota Tegal dan pelabuhannya adalah kota yang sedang berkembang dengan pesat permasalahan pendangkalan yang dihadapi pelabuhan Tegal sedikit banyak dapat mempengaruhi kelancaran lalu-lintas pelayaran pelabuhan Tegal. Salah satu cara untuk menguranginya adalah memodifikasi alur atau jetty. Perubahan alur yang di sini dilakukan adalah pelebaran dari alur pelabuhan dari pelabuhan. Alternatif pertama yang dilakukan adalah perubahan ukuran pintu pelabuhan menjadi 74 m alternatif kedua pengubahan bentuk lengan jetty menjadi bentuk v pada pintu pelabuhan dan alternatif ke tiga pemanjangan lenganjetty sejauh 100 m. Pengolahan menggunakan software SMS 8.0 dan AutoCAD Land Development. Pada kondisi awal terjadi pengendapan di kolam labuh sebanyak 40 m3 di alur sebanyak 33 m3 .Alternatif pertama mengalami pengendapan sebesar 22 m3 pada kolam labuh dan 24 m3 pada alur sedangkan pada alternatif kedua mengalami pengendapan sebesar 35 m3 pada kolam labuh dan 24 m3 pada alur dan pada alternatif ketiga mengalami pengendapan sebesar 23 m3 pada kolam labuh dan 8 m3 pada alur.


Tegal and its port having remarkable development through this year the sedimentation problem that faced in recent year could interupt the traffic in harbor. One way to decrease the shoaling is the modification of channel or jetiies. In this final project focus on the modification of channel and jetty the first alternative is widen the port gate untill it become 74 m the second alternative is the modify the end of arms jetty into v-shape and the third alternative is increase the length of jetty into 100 m. The sedimentation calculation is processed by software SMS 8.0 and AutoCAD Land Development. The study shows on initial condition there were 40 m3 sedimentation on channel and 33 m3 sedimentation in port basin on first alternative there were 24 m3 sedimentation on channel and 22 m3 sedimentation in 3 port basin on second alternative there were 24 m3 sedimentation on channel and 35 m3 sedimentation in port basin and on third alternative there were 8 m3 sedimentation on channel and 23 m3 sedimentation in port basin.
