Description:

Kerupuk umumnya memiliki dimensi yang berbeda antara satu dengan yang lainnya, hal ini disebabkan proses pengerjaanya masih menggunakan satu pisau dengan tenaga manusia (manual) sehingga sangat kurang efisien dalam peningkatan produksi yang dihasilkan. Maka dari itu, perlu adanya perencanaan alat pemotong kerupuk dengan sistem pneumatik agar hasil pemotongan memiliki dimensi yang seragam dan meningkatkan produksi baik secara kualitas maupun kwantitas. Dalam perencanaan terlebih dahulu dipelajari karakteristik dari kerupuk. Kerupuk ini merupakan jenis kerupuk Puli dengan dimensi 15x15x1,5 cm. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mengetahui gaya total pemotongan dari kerupuk, sehingga dapat dipakai dalam pemilihan silinder pneumatik, desain pisau direncanakan sesuai dengan hasil yang diinginkan, kemudian dilakukan perencanaan sirkuit dan perakitan komponen pneumatik,selanjutnya pengujian alat bermaksud untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan dari alat tersebut. Dari hasil percobaan tersebut, didapatkan bahwa kerupuk dapat terpotong dengan gaya pemotongan atau penekanan 30 N. Dengan tekanan 6 bar didapat diameter silinder pneumatik sebesar 80 mm.

In generally kerupuk have the unumiformity dimension of each other, this caused the process still use one knife with manpower ( manual) so that very less efficient in product increase. Therefor it needs to planning of “Kerupuk Tahu” cutter machine with pneumatic system. So the result of cutting have uniform dimension and increase product either through quantity and also quality. On machine planning step, it is necessary to define the characteristic first of the kerupuk, The kerupuk used, is a type of kerupuk puli with dimention 15x15x1.5 cm. The experiment is done with a cutter force for the selection of pneumatic cylinder, blade desain according with the result of cutting that have planned; then planning of circuit and assembling of component of pneumatic ,than experiment of appliance is done to know efficacy level. From the result, it’s known that material can be well cutted with 30 N of force and 6 bar of air compressor that find the diameter of cylinder piston is 80 mm
