Application Of Street Canyon Model For Predicting Air Quality In The Transportation Line Of The Commercial Districts Case Of Study Tunjungan Street Surabaya

ABSTRAK

Model street canyon Johnson et al dan Hassan dan Crowther telah diaplikasikan untuk memprediksi kadar karbon monoksida CO yang berasal dari emisi gas buang kendaraan bermotor di jalan Tunjungan Surabaya. Estimasi parameter dan validasi model dilakukan dengan menyesuai-kan model terhadap data pengukuran CO di lapangan kondisi meteorologi kecepatan dan arah angin dominan dan emisi sumber garis yang dihitung dari volume lalu-lintas komposisi dan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan bermotor. Kedua model tidak dapat diterapkan secara langsung kecuali dengan memasukkan faktor stabilitas atmosfir sehingga memberikan prediksi kada-r CO yang lebih mendekati pengukuran lapangan. Estimasi parameter dan validasi model Johnson et al dengan k002 menghasilkan prediksi CO yang lebih mendekati pengukuran lapangan pada hari Rabu 03102001E6650 r063 Sb802 pada leeward side E5179 r075 dan Sb510 pada windward side. Model Hassan dan Crowther dengan kl0003 k203 dan k3110 menghasilkan prediksi CO yang lebih mendekati pengukuran lapangan pada hari Rabu 10102001 E3368 r064 dan Sb208


ABSTRACT

Two street canyon models either Johnson et al model and Hassan and Crowther model have been applied for predicting concentrations of carbon monoxide CO arising from vehicular emissions in Tunjungan Street Surabaya. Parameter estimation and model validation were fitted using field measurements together with concurrent meteorological data wind speed and its direction and line source emissions estimated from traffic volume composition and the average speed of the vehicles. Unfortunately those models could not be predicted accuratelv if not including the atmospheric stability factors in the model formulation. Parameter estimation and validation of Johnson et al model with k002 give the concentrations of predicted CO close to field measurements on Wednesday 10032001 E6650 r063 and Sd802 in the leeward side E5179 r075 dan Sd510 in the windward side. Hassan and Crowther model with kl0003 k203 and k3110 give the concentrations of predicted CO close to field measurements on Wednesday 10102001 E3368 r064 and Sd208.
