ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan model matematis garansi dan analisa interval untuk produk reuse dengan lifetime yang berbeda-beda. Platform distribusi yang digunakan adalah Weibull dan Non Homogeneous Poisson Process. Model matematis ini akan mengintegrasikan konsep Nominal Customer Risk NCR dalam penentuan periode dan biaya garansi satu dimensi untuk produk reuse dengan kebijakan free replacement warranty satu dimensi. Problem penelitian yang dikaji berikutnya adalah perbedaan umur tiap item produk reuse. Produk reuse dengan umur muda akan menimbulkan biaya garansi yang lebih kecil daripada produk reuse dengan umur yang tua dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Jika biaya garansi dibebankan pada konsumen melalui peningkatan harga jual maka produk bekas berumur tua dengan biaya garansi lebih tinggi menjadi tidak menarik bagi konsumen. Teknik solusi yang diberikan adalah dengan analisis biaya dalam interval LU guna perhitungan besar subsidi silang untuk produk reuse dengan lifetime yang berbeda-beda dalam kerangka model matematis pula. Dengan kajian ini dihasilkan suatu instrumen mendasar dan aplikatif yang dapat menuntun produsen dan konsumen dalam melakukan analisis garansi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis biaya garansi dalam interval LU pihak manufaktur dapat mengambil keputusan untuk penentuan periode garansi yang sama untuk kelompok produk reuse dengan lifetime yang berbeda-beda dengan koridor bahwa nilai maksimal resiko konsumen pengguna reuse adalah sama dengan saat menggunakan produk baru


ABSTRACT

This research will develop mathematical model of warranty and cross subsidies analysis for reused products with different lifetime. The Weibull and Non Homogeneous Poisson Process distribution are used as model platform. Customer Nominal Risk NCRs concept will be integrated into the determination of the warranty period and warranty costs for reused product with free replacement warranty policy. Next research problem examined is the difference in age of each item reused product. Reused product with younger age will cause a less warranty costs than reused product with older age and vice versa. If warranty costs charged to the consumer through increased of sales prices the older reused product with higher warranty cost become unattractive to consumers. Warranty cost analysis in the cross subsidies analysis of L U is given as solution to the calculation of cross-subsidies for the reused product with different lifetime in the framework of mathematical models as well. Results obtained from warranty cost analysis in the cross subsidies L U to the manufacturer is decision alternatives if manufacturer would determine the same warranty period to reuse the product in cross subsidies LU with a maximum value of consumers risk corridors is same when using new product. Finally this study generated a fundamental and applicative instrument that can guide producers and consumers in warranty cost analysis.
