KAJI NUMERIK DISTRIBUSI TEMPERATURE PADA RUANGAN DENGAN VARIASI KECEPATAN UDARA MASUK DIFFUSER DAN POSISI DIFFUSER PADA KONDISI TUNAK

ABSTRAK

Ada banyak fungsi dasar yang harus dipenuhi oleh sistem pendistribusian udara di ruangan. Kalor yang ditimbulkan oleh sumber-sumber yang berbeda seperti sinar matahari lampu-lampu dan alat-alat listrik lain harus dikeluarkan dari ruang yang dikondisikan. Sistem distribusi udara juga harus mencatu udara segar ke ruangan yang dikondisikan. Pola distribusi temperatur pada ruangan yang dikondisikan dipengaruhi oleh geometri ruangan sumber panas jenis letak dan posisi difuser serta kecepatan aliran udara masuk difuser. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu metoda numerik dan uji laboratorium. Metoda numerik mensimulasikan pola pendistribusian temperatur di ruangan dengan variasi posisi difuser dan kecepatan udara masuk diffuser. Pada posisi difuser mendatar dengan kecepatan udara masuk difuser tinggi didapatkan distribusi temperatur yang relatif sama di semua level pengamatan.


ABSTRACT

There are a number of fundamental functions to be fulfilled by air distribution system in a room. Heat generated by different sources such as sunlight lighting and other electrical installation has to be removed from the conditioned room. The air distribution system must also supply fresh air to the conditioned room. The temperature distribution pattern in the conditioned room is influenced by room geometry heat sources diffuser position and type and air supply velocity on diffuser. Numerical method simulates diffuser position variation and air supply velocity. The horizontally diffuser position and high velocity air supply indicates that temperature distribution equal on all level.
