ABSTRAK

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kepentingan atau nilai utilitas dari tiap-tiap atribut berdasarkan persepsi preferensi konsurnen dan posisioning produk. Sedangkan secara khusus mengetahui konsep produk telepon selular yang ideal berdasarkan persepsi dan preferensi konsumen serta posisioningnya mengetahui konsep produk susu berdasarkan persepsi dan preferensi konsumen serta posisioningnya dan mengetahui konsep produk operator Pro-XL Mentari Sempati berdasarkan persepsi dan preferensi konsumen serta posisioningnya. Data yang digunakan adalah data riil dari beberapa survey yang berkaitan dengan preferensi suatu produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam mengevaluasi tingkat kepentingan atribut terhadap suatu produk untuk pendekatan biplot dan pendekatan konjoin terdapat perbedaan terutama pada disain awalnya. Dimana pada pendekatan konjoin yaitu evaluasi holdout merupakan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Preferensi atribut umum dari strata yang dipilih tidak dapat menjelaskan karakteristik responden maka sebaiknya melihat preferensi atribut secara keseluruhan.


ABSTRACT

The aim of the research is to know importance store level or value of utility from every attribute pursuant to perception consumer preference and of positioning product. Data the used is real data from some survey related to preference a product. Result of research show in evaluating store level importance of attribute to a product for the approach of biplot and conjoin there are difference especially at designed initially. Where at approach of conjoin that is evaluation of holdout represent examination of and validity of reliability. Attribute preference of selected strata cannot explain responder characteristic hence better see attribute preference as a whole.
