MICROTREMOR ANALYSIS TO EVALUATE OF BUILDINGS STRENGTH CASE STUDY THE LIBRARY BUILDING ITS

ABSTRAK

Analisis mikrotremor telah dilakukan pada gedung Perpustakaan ITS bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai frekuensi natural bangunan menentukan rasio redaman bangunan serta menentukan tingkat kerentanan bangunan dengan menggunakan metode FSR Floor Spectral Ratio untuk memperkirakan fungsi transferamplifikasi frekuensi natural dan indeks kerentanan dan metode RDM Random Decrement Metode untuk karakteristik dinamik bangunan rasio redaman dan frekuensi natural. Berdasarkan data penelitian hubungan FSR dan RDM sangat erat sehingga menghasilkan rasio redaman yang akurat dari hasil validasi frekuensi natural pada FSR dan RDM. Hubungan antara rasio redaman dengan frekuensi natural menghasilkan analisis non linear keatas karena rasio redaman bergantung pada jenis material bangunan dan hubungan antara rasio redaman dengan indeks kerentanan menghasilkan jika kerentanan bangunan tinggi maka rasio redaman kecil. Hasil dari penelitian ini nilai frekuensi natural dari FSR 1.45 1.52 Hz dan hasil RDM 1.51 1.79 Hz. Gedung perpustakaan ITS tergolong sudah memenuhi standart gedung dari hasil rasio redaman antara 3-7. Nilai indeks kerantan paling tinggi adalah terletak di lantai dua gedung perpustakaan. Jadi lantai dua merupakan bangunan yang paling lemah jika terjadi kerusakan gedung.


ABSTRACT

Microtremor analysis studies have been conducted the library building ITS intent on determine the natural frequency value determine damping ratio as well as to determine vulnerability level building using method FSR Floor Spectra Ratio to estimate transfer function amplification natural frequency and vulnerability index and the method of RDM Random decrement method for dynamic characteristics of building structures damping ratio and natural frequency. Based on researches data and RDM FSR relationship is very strong so as to produce an accurate damping ratio of natural frequency on the validation FSR and RDM. Relation of damping ratio and natural frequency produce non linear analysis because the damping ratio depends on the type of building material. Relation of damping ratio and the vulnerability index produce if the vulnerability of building high then the damping ratio value is a small. The result of this study natural frequency value from FSR 1.45-1.52 Hz and result RDM 1.51-1.79 Hz. ITS library building included to the standart building of the damping ratio 3-7 . Vulnerability indeks value of the library building highest is located on second floor. So second floor is weakest in the event of damage to buildings.
